What are the deminsions?

Hi Leslie. The dimensions are 8 inches deep by 10 1/2 inches opening. With 1 inch handles on two sides, so that the handles overlapthe frames opening and therefore the handles make it 12 1/2 inches from one outer edge handle to the other. Hope that helps!

does this bucket fit Guardian commode?

If your commode is from any store that carries other surgical supplies, canes, braces, etc., Yes, it will fit, BUT, like I warned other folks, it is not the color 'white' like it should be, it is a very dark, almost black color. The bad things about that color, it is very, very difficult to see how filled the bucket is without the help of a strong flashlight - (if the patients' outflow is to be measured and notated, this is very difficult, again, because of the color of bucket). In addition, if patient has blood or pus in their urine (as can happen) you will never know for sure because you won't be able to see it like you would within a white bucket. And, one more thing, after emptying the bucket and beginning to wash it clean, it is difficult to see just how well you have scrubbed this, again, because of the dark color - at least with the white bucket, it is easier to see if it is still soiled or is full of soap suds from the cleaning. Last time I checked, there were 4 quarts in a gallon. If this bucket is 12 quarts, isn't that 3 gallons? The product info. says 2 gallons.

This is a 2 gallon bucket. I just measured it. it has no writing on this bucket. But it IS 2 Gallon.

Seller only please update your title this is 2 gallons so 8 quart not 12 quart pail? amazon no longer offers link to report these issues.
