Direct Replacement LED light tubes worked without having to modify existing light fixture ballast!
Wanted to replace the existing 21" fluorescent light tubes with LED ones without having to modify the ballast in the light fixture. Found these Lightwise F13T5 Direct Replacement LED light tubes on Amazon that fit this need. The existing light fixture and its ballast is very old (perhaps 30-40 years old?), so was unsure whether these Direct Replacement LED light tubes would actually work.Installed two of them in the light fixture and actually held my breath while flipping the light switch on. Was very happy and pleasantly surprised to see the new LED lights immediately turn on without any flickering. They were a perfect fit and installed much like the old fluorescent ones...just needed to make sure that the LED lights were oriented downwards after being seated in the socket. I like the 4000k brightness and they are cool white, without a purple/pink tint like a few other reviewers encountered.Time will tell whether these LED light tubes last longer than the last set of fluorescent ones did (i.e., those were terrible and would burn out every couple of months). So far, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Good value for the money, super bright too.
Great replacement lights. I had two of six of the old fluorescent bulbs blown out. The price for those was virtually the same, except that it costs allot more to use them vice these! I originally bought a pack of 3, when they arrived and I installed them, I had to buy more and subsequently bought another two packs. Tome you can’t go wrong with these bulbs.

T5 7W LED light is brighter and easy to install
This T5 7W LED light replaces my T5 18W light is easy to install and has less power than the standard T5 18W light. It should last longer than the standard light bulbs. Immediately, I can see that is LED replacement is brighter. I changed all 4 light bulbs to LED light bulbs.

Looks exactly like the CFLs and uses less power.
I love these lights, they look exactly like the CFL bulbs that I was replacing in my under-cabinet kitchen lighting. Not only do they use less power, they seem to have a more 'consistent' look with the lights where they flicker less. I am planning on purchasing this again and replacing all of my lights with these LED substitutes.

Works great, simple to use.
I have some old fluorescent fixtures under kitchen cabinets & the occasional replacements for those were hard to find, expensive, and difficult to dispose of safely. I didn’t want to get into rewiring for other LED replacements so I was excited to find these. I plugged 3 of them in & they work great - no blinking, humming or anything else; and they are a pleasant color for the kitchen. One caveat - light comes out in sun a 180 degree arc, not 360 like fluorescent tubes; and you can’t rotate the tube to change the direction. That was actually good for me in my application as it sends light down in the direction I need, but might not work for everyone.
