These bags are big enough to hold a good amount even for a pot
However the weave is tight so it's hard to infuse freely, but here's a trick, keep the top open as you pour the water in slowly then let it rest (with top open) I had whole leaf green tea infused jasmine pearls so they were OK, I imagine if you have something that floats eventually it would be problematic.I really like them, and it would have been ideal if the porousness was a bit more relaxed.Hope you have found this review helpful!

Very handy
These little bags are great for being able to infuse spices into food. They are easy to get back out so no digging around to retrieve little bits of spice.Great price and quality.
