I adhered this to my nightstand which is shorter than my higher sleep number bed and I love how easy it is just to plop my phone down and have it charge. The problem with the cord was I was always searching for it or fumbling in the dark to plug it in. Then I got the magnetic charger which worked great for putting it on but would pop off and make quite a bang when I picked it up as the cord was too short to reach my hands. This solved my problem, now I can put it down very easily and pick it up while still having the charger stay in place. I will be buying more to put on the end tables next to my couch. I highly recommend this product for more than a car application. Note that you will have to buy the actual mag charger separately.

I bought this and one from spigen to try out and I ended up returning the one from spigen because this one was better. It holds the Apple MagSafe puck very tightly making it very difficult to remove which is great. It holds very well. I installed it with the sticky mount and waited 2 days for good measure before I put the puck in and used it to make sure that it would have a good hold. Definitely wait at least a day before you use it to make sure it has a good hold. I have had it for at least 2 months and I have had no issues. I don’t like mounting stuff on my vent so I haven’t used that one yet but I am sure that it works well. The issue I had with the spigen is that it was too bulky and would move enough to the way I wanted because it was on a fixed arm rather than this which is on a ball that you can move around. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking and something like this. The price is also better than spigen especially since you would still have to buy the Apple MagSafe charger which is costs too much in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded.  Se pega muy bien al tablero del carro. Llevo varios días usandola con el adhesivo y no se mueve ni se ha caído. El adhesivo esta bueno. La parte que va en las tomas de salida de aire es de buen tamaño. Las de mi camioneta (VW Amarok) son muy gruesas las ventilas y si le funcionó. También funciona en las ventilas delgadas. Es justo lo que necesitaba.

I think we all know by now that when we use our MagSafe charger with a good/compatible cigarette lighter charger the screen will tell us that it’s probably going to charge the phone the best it can. Not that it can beat the lightning port, but as good as it can get wirelessly. Surprisingly this mount that fits perfectly with the MagSafe charger is not top on the list for mounts in the searches. I really do hope it can find itself on top of the lists on searches. This simply made mount for MagSafe to be used in the car fits perfectly. It’s so perfect, the puck won’t fall out when you remove the phone. In one of my photos will show you the hole to use to push out the charger. I also have photos of the MagSafe in the mount, and my phone on it to show that I am charging with the MagSafe. The locking nut is pretty solid as well, the mount won’t be loose and sag. This product is worth every penny for anyone that would rather use the official MagSafe charger and not some third party universal qi charger.

Had a heck of a time getting my OEM Apple MagSafe charger to work in the car with our iPhone 12’s. No matter what kind of connection we used, the phones would not charge - just cycle into charging and not-connected mode every few seconds while steadily draining the phone battery.I tried several car chargers, thinking it might be an issue with compatibility with the smart charging features of the iPhone 12 Pro Max or simply not enough power output for the huge phone. None of that explained, however, why my wife’s iPhone 12 Mini refused to charge. After thinking through the problem some more, I realized that the magnetic mount on which I placed the MagSafe charger to hold it to my dashboard was the culprit! Inductive charging uses electric coils to charge the phone, which is the same basic principle as magnetism - so the magnetic mount on my car vent was actually disrupting / cancelling the electrical charging current.This little adapter solved all of that problem - no additional magnets other than the MagSafe itself. Now our phones charge perfectly (and super-fast, thanks to the 45W car charger adapters I bought while troubleshooting).This adapter mounts easily to the car vent with the included clip, and holds even my giant iPhone 12 Pro Max firmly in place once my MagSafe charger is installed. There is also a stand adapter that you can glue to your dash or other surface if not using the vent clip (I didn’t try this). All in all this is an excellent solution to a problem that Apple designed into their very expensive MagSafe chargers; a problem easily remedied by not making the chargers magnet-mountable in the first place.If you’re having trouble with your MagSafe not charging, or simply want a fail-safe way to mount it into your car, this a perfect solution.

The Apple Magsafe charger fits quite snugly into the case and the car vent attachment is just a bit fiddly but once attached stays there. Been using for a few weeks now.
