Is there a datasheet for the entire pcb, not just the led itself?

It's not a complete panel,none of the LED chip is connected through the PCB. The PCB only keeps them attached - and it's non-conductive. You need to solder them based on your requirement. There are 6 solder points on the back of LEDs.

If you are talking about the control line, then no, they must be in series. The power and ground connections can be on a parallel circuit provided you have a common ground for your control signal and 5V.
