I bought this SIM card before going on a trip to New York City. I wanted to have unlimited data so I was able to navigate around using maps freely without having to worry about running out of data. The set up sounded simple enough, however, once I followed the instructions in the United States, the T mobile network came up but the data did not. I had full mobile signal but E data. I was told this would be 4G Or LTE. This went on for hours and I thought it was due to our location. However wherever we went it was still E and would not work. When we finally made it to the hotel (which was difficult to find without data) I called the customer service number. They were very friendly however did not understand my problem. Despite explaining several times that I did not have data, they said everything looked fine and that it should be working. They advised me to turn my phone on and off (which I had already done SEVERAL times) and that they would call me back once I had done. Surprise surprise, it did not work and they did not call me back! So I fiddled about with my phone, used the hotel WiFi to look up how to fix the problem. After a lot of stress I tried factory resetting my network settings (which I had no clue what it was to do). Once the phone was back on I had to select the option that’s was not there before to set it to LTE. After this the phone data worked.I don’t think I should have to factory reset some settings on my phone to be able to use the data. A lot of stress and hassle for being away from home. Customer service friendly but not helpful. But once it’s working it works very well.

Found this a very user friendly sim card to use, I requested activation date in line with my arrival date and departure date and verified my phone was compatible with the SIM. I received notification of activationand once I arrived the sim was available to use straight away without any internal configuration myself, only to install the configuration messages I received when I turned on the phone with that sim active. This is a 4g data sim which was sufficient for what I needed. Happy to recommend.

First time using this after many years travelling to the US and scrabbling around trying to find Wi-FiRegistered before I went, switched on the phone when we got off the plane and worked seamlessly. Coverage was as expected, great in the major towns and ok in the countryside, no worse than some places in the UK.We’ll worth the price and will be getting one each time we go from now on.

Worked perfectly in New York City and California for calls, texts, data and as a WiFi hotspot for 4 other phones. A couple of usage niggles at the start. Sim was inserted in the spare phone to be used in the UK ahead of time and recognised as T-Mobile etc. On landing none of our phones including the 4 with UK Sim cards and the one with this Sim would automatically connect to any network. This was eventually fixed by taking out and re-inserting the Sim card in each phone at which point they automatically all connected to T-Mobile. In the instruction email received on activation and on the card with the Sim there are three different APN settings mentioned for use in Android phones. After visiting a T-Mobile shop they said the only one to use was fast.t-mobile.com once this was corrected in the phone settings it worked perfectly.

Used on an iPhone XR in San Francisco and never had any problems connecting in the city. Only lost signal once in quite a rural location north of SF, so if you’re going that way then Verizon might work better. Setting it up was fairly simple and it started working from when I’d set it, and the internet connection good. Unlimited data was nice too

I am in the middle of a 3 week holiday in the USA and can highly recommend this purchase. I received it on Friday and registered it immediately for activation on the day we left on the Tuesday. I received an email Tuesday morning with the US phone number. On the plane I put the SIM in my phone and it worked as soon as I switched my phone on as I arrived in the States. The fact that it is unlimited means that I have been able to use it for everything including navigation and my daughter has used it as a hotspot. It hasn't been perfect as a hotspot but ok enough. So glad I bought this for our trip. Invaluable.

LIKES.. worked straight away no messing, linked to the cars Apple play and used the data for navigation.Will be purchasing again for a business trip in Florida.DISLIKES.. for the price none.

Landed JFK, plugged in my Simcard and I was connected to the world within seconds! I highly recommend these guys. Great value for money.
