Braun 5000/6000FC- XP 31B Flex Integral Foil/Cutterblock Replacement Pack, Black

Great product, it arrived on time, now I get a smoother - faster shave! It sure makes a difference, when you have new blades!

Had to stop using the shaver because of the holes that I had worn in foil top. Now it is as good as new.

I am not sure this is the right foil for my shaver. I have the Braun 5614 model and I can never find parts for that model. But it works very well. The screen doesn't pop off when you press the release button but it pulls off easily while you are pushing the release button. It does well on all parts of the face except the neck. I haven't found anything that does a real good job on the neck hairs.

This marks the 3rd foil & blade replacement for my excellent Braun. The foil looks the same as the 1st replacement bought since I got the razor, but the cutting blade is much different. It's lighter, has a completely different horizontal blade design, and is clearly much lighter. This makes for a slightly quieter shave that seems to run a little faster. It is lighter, after all.All of this is basically irrelevant if it doesn't work as well. I think it works better! It shaves closer than I recall the other vertical, or perpendicular, blade did. I still notice occasional hair pulling, but I feel that it doesn't do it as often. Since it does appear lighter, longevity is a concern. It will be interesting to see if it lasts as long as the previous replacement.

I had put away my old (you might almost say vintage…) Braun shaver for a few months when the last foil block wore out, switching to a newer Norelco shaver that I have, but have never been 100% happy with. When the ad for this replacement cutter/foil block popped up on Amazon for a great price, I clicked on it – and I am glad that I did. The first shave with this cutter and foil block reminded me why I have chosen Braun shavers over the years. It gives a close, clean, irritation-free shave, and gets into the tight spots under the nose.The Norelco has gone back into the storage drawer.

Replaced this on my 6520 that I have had a long time and it works great, better than the previous one that I had for years when finally the plastic part broke.The mesh design of the holes are of irregular shape instead of the regular circles in the previous model, and also the edge around each hole that touches the face seems to have been made rounder so that one can get a closer shave with less friction, and the foil seems to be made of sturdier metal than before.Overall, excellent replacement that extends the life of my 6520 for a few more years.

Although the product name and product features does not list it as so, this is the "31B." It says so when it's in your shopping cart and up along the window for this product. The 31B also works with Model: 5691, 5790, 5791, 5795, 5796 (per the service[...] website), and I can personally confirm it works in the 5790 (which we bought it for).No more nicks when shaving with the 3 yr. old razor! Much nicer! Went ahead and ordered a second to have on hand as this model gets harder and harder to come by.Braun has a "service" website where you can look up which part you need for your razor. I mistakenly didn’t realize there was a couple of color options but got the right one (silver)

Je suis très satisfait de ces grilles de remplacement originale par Braun. Pour avoir acheté d'autres grilles de ''jobber'' qui ont été médiocre, cela vaut la peine d'acheter les grilles originales Braun. À recommander ce fournisseur sans ésiter.
