Our Gulliver's Travels poster uses Swift's original words to cleverly capture Gulliver's fantastical encounter with a culture that bears stark differences and yet striking similarities to his, and perhaps, our own. In our poster, Gulliver is kneeling in deference to greet the King of the Lilliputians who, despite his obvious miniscule size in comparison to Gulliver, believes himself to hold the power to control Gulliver's actions. The King is therefore puffed up in pride as he converses with the enormous adventurer. Yet Gulliver portrays the positive aspect of humanity in his willingness to be humble and to adapt to a new culture and way of life.
