It is an oil based product. Anything oil based. Baby oil. I used Vaseline. So you spread vaseline on the temp tattoo, leave it on for a few minutes. This will help you remove the tattoo.

Initially I tried a smaller decal on my neck. It started to flake off in three days. Then I tried a larger design on my calf. It lasted NINETEEN days. Amazing. Regarding the removal: You'll rub your skin until it is red if you use alcohol as a solvent. It works but it takes a lot of rubbing and pressure. When I removed the large decal, I initially used alcohol but switched to canola oil when I couldn't get the tiny flecks off. The oil worked really well and did not require a lot of friction. I like the designs a lot and will probably work through the pack one at a time.

The temporary tattoos are okay. They look nice and are easy to apply. However, they don't last very long and start to fade quickly. The designs are fun. Overall, they are fine for a short event, but don't expect them to last too long.

I bought these over a year ago for a festival but only just used them for Halloween this weekend on both of my arms.They are very easy to put on and stick to your skin almost immediately after the backing gets wet. Once you take the backing off be sure to let the area completely air dry before you attempt to touch it, but after that they are awesome.These pictures are after two nights of sleep (I am a tosser/side sleeper who hugs pillows so lots of rubbing on my skin) one shower, and 48 hours of total wear!

This picture is after it has been on a full 5 days already and at least 1 shower per day! Lasts longer on drier/less oily skin so I have not used lotion on this arm to see just how long I can make it last. Great value for how many you get! Highly recommend.

Pretty but waste of money, they do not transfer onto skin. There are better ones out there.
