Fit as expected, it was for a 12 year old, had to get a size XS for himin a man's so that it would fit, and it did.

I was a little weary about buying this based on the negative reviews, but after trying it on, I have to say it’s exactly the kind of jacket I was looking for. Very sleek, smooth to the touch and stylish. I am 5’10”, 165 lbs and have an athletic body with long arms, so a size M gives me a fitted size, but still comfy, even with extra layers.The only cons of the jacket that might be of issue to others are that there’s no lining inside and that the faux leather / polyester is kind of on the thinner side — it’s definitely not a jacket for warmth, but more for style. The belts jangle a little, but to be honest I got used to it after five minutes.

The thickness of material is pretty good keeping in mind it’s faux leather. The cut has a bit of extra below the armpit. So with arms out to the sides the material surrounding the torso below armpit level is a little wide and not snugger as I’m used to. Arms down that area is a little loose. I’m 6’1” & 195 lbs. I’m personally not a fan of bagginess and like my clothes to fit and compliment. The main zipper is ok, I don’t quite trust it and it’s not exactly easy to work with. The buttons on the lapels help the jacket keep its shape. When you unbutton it kinda shifts all over the place. My biggest gripe are the belts/straps at the bottom and under the lapels.Bottom straps: Thin, and when you buckle them up, doesn’t really have a solid way to secure the slack beyond the buckle. So they slip out and flip around real easy. Also, the buckle itself it pretty wimpy and jungles more than my liking. I keep telling this jacket to shut up. Collar strap: it’s weird if you try to use it. And once you buckle it, there’s nothing to hold down the slack so it just hangs. I tried to wrap it around itself to secure it but after looking at it it’s just starts to look like I’m trying way hard to try and make that work.Pockets: 2 side pockets are good and at a down angle so not worried about stuff falling out. Love that. The button down flap at mid stomach is not a real pocket. The zippers at chest are not real pockets. One inside pocket.I still like it and will wear it, pretty good for the price. I just won’t mess with the straps.

I bought this jacket for my son’s costume for the musical, All Shook Up. He’s wearing an XS jacket. He wears a S/M shirt. The jacket was perfect for the role he played. You get the look of leather at a much cheaper price. He was able to dance and move around easily while wearing the jacket. He did say the jacket had a “crab” smell when he first opened the jacket, but the smell faded after a couple of days to air out.

Going for the ghost rider look minus the spikes, this jacket will work. This jacket is purely for show as it is plastic made to look like leather, but is soft enough to wear, but for dress not warmth. It has two ackward belts that even when bucked (across the front) still flop in the front. I actually had this jacket in the amazon box hidden away for Christmas when out shopping I saw a young man of about 15 wearing this. My first Impression was the kid looked like a dropout from the 50’s trying to be cool like you see on TV. He walked past me and continuallly messed with those ackward belts flopping in front of him like he was contiplating what he could do differently with them. My son has light sensory issues and the belts do bother him, but he think the jacket looks cool, I suspect he will grow out of it before he ever wears it more than a few times and it will get donated or yard saled.
