Itchy Feet World Map XXL 51 x 28 inches, Travel Pin Board with Fleece Surface in Modern Wall Art Design, 20 Flag Push Pins Included

I received this map for Christmas. It's not a cork type board but has a rubber mat behind it. The closest thing I can describe it to is an old fashioned mouse pad, but with a much nicer finish. The first thing that I noticed about it was how beautiful the blue is and the pleasant texture of the fabric. We specifically wanted a large map to document which countries we've been to, and this serves the purpose well. I would recommend framing it if you have the ability to do so. I framed out backer board with furring strips, then nailed trim around it which I cut with a miter saw. I opted to put a thin layer of foam behind the map and in front of the backer board to help with the pins, although this step perhaps is not strictly needed. My partner chose the colors, which I feel make the map pop. We are very happy with the map and look forward to using it for years to come.

Die Karte hat meine Erwartungen alle genau erfüllt. Die Druckqualität ist, finde ich sehr gut und die Fähnchen lassen sich einfach anstecken und halten auch, wie sie sollen. Ich habe die Karte an die Wand genagelt und sie hält so echt gut. Sie ist also eine echte Verschönerung für das Zimmer. Ich kann die Karte sehr empfehlen.

On adore la matière ! Il est déjà accroché au mur : attention qu’il faut mettre des punaises plus longues car ce n’est pas réellement un poster (matière plutôt comme un tapis). Par contre pas besoin de cadre donc c’est top.

UPDATE: I thought this was the perfect travel map for us until we cruised to Antarctica and the Arctic neither are on the map so now I have to make adjustments and add them myself. I was so excited when the map arrived and even more so when I opened it up. The photo doesn't do it justice. We had it framed and had an extra layer of cork board added. Hopefully soon we will have time to start adding all of our travel pins. I love the map and it looks beautiful on our wall.
