Q: I'm printing with the coated side up, inkjet, using highest quality, but the black is blotchy and very transparent - not solid and dark any ideas?

Is the printing on smooth side of paper or textured side of paper? Many printer print differently, depending on how the printer pulls the paper in for printing. Make sure to insert you paper so it will print on textured side. Hope this helps
