Great quality stool with VERY comfy cushion seat
This is a very sturdy and quality built unit. The lowest seat position is taller than what most would want to use as a stool for use in kitchen food prep or such use. For me it works just perfect. I have back problems and need to sit while I try to cook and this works great to push around on my hardwood floors. I did order another set of casters that were made for wood floors after reading another reviewer that stated that they would recomend doing so. I am not sure if it was needed or not. I just did not want to take the chance. The legs are metal and strong so I feel that there will be no issues or problems with them. I bought a different stool made with plastic legs that had one break and I fell in a heap on the floor and with my numerous back fusion surgeries I really could have had a major problem on my hands! The backrest on this one is much nicer than the previous which lacked one.Shipping was very quick and because I choose the Super Saver Shipping it was no charge freight. Assembly was very quick and easy with just a Phillips screwdriver to attach the seat base and a hammer (I prefer rubber mallet) to tap in casters and foot ring / gas lift in place etc.The overall quality and fit and finish I think that you will find above average to most anything else that you will find anywhere near this price point. Those of you familiar to seeing the short medical stools that most Dr. office's have, I think will most often be this same brand and seat base- regardless of black or beige..... both colors available here. (only mentioned for you to use for reference). If any of this information changes after I use it further I will return and update the info!

Comfortable, Raises High
I bought this chair to sit at my workbench which is higher than most desks. I'm tallish, 6'0", and the bench and this chair fit me well. The seat is thick and well padded, and the backrest matches in comfort and quality. The backrest doesn't seem to move back and forth which isn't a problem but it is a surprise. Maybe I've assembled it wrong somehow but I don't know what I could have done differently, it all seems to go together just one way. Whatever, the back is close to the bottom cushion, and doesn't have any spring so the only movement is in the back cushion which swivels somewhat. No problem, it's very comfortable.I bought it for the height as I said but ironically I keep it at the lowest position because it's hard to get on when it's all the way up. The casters roll very easily, I think they're for carpet but I use the chair on my concrete garage floor and it tends to roll as I'm getting on. Not a complaint though, just an observation. It was easy to assemble, maybe it took 10 minutes. It seems to be a good chair and reasonably priced.

Edge of seat cushion just a little too rigid...
First of all, it is extremely easy to put together - about 5 minutes total with a phillips head. Height adjustment should work for almost any scenario I could imagine. I have a stand-up desk (homemade using standard folding table and cut pvc pipe - no need to spend money on leg extenders!) but I wanted to be able to occassionally sit down as well. My desk is at a height of 42.5" and I'm about 5-11 - the chair goes from 28.5" up to 34.25", and works fine for me at almost the highest setting. The footring is not adjustable, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the seat cushion - because of the stool seat naturally being smaller than a regular desk chair seat, the edge of the seat hits a little further back on the thighs, and the edge of the seat cushion is a bit "rigid" when can get a little uncomfortable after a while. If they would have rounded off the edge a little it would likely be very comfortable. Maybe eventually after more use this rigidity will ease up and be more comfortable. Otherwise it appears to be very well made and a good product.

The Highchair for Adults!
I haven't had it for long, but I have to say I am impressed! You don't often get to use the words "Cheap Furniture" and "Great" without throwing the word "Not" in there somewhere, but this time that is not the case. I think this is a great stool. First off, I am 6'1", with a good amount of leg, and when you raise this stool all the way up, I have to climb up to sit down! Well, maybe not climb, but tip-toes and a bit of a hop is needed. I got this because of a bad back that keeps me from doing anything at counter height for more than a few minutes. I thought that maybe a high enough stool would allow me to sit once in a while as I am working, and that would let me spend a little more time cooking or doing the dishes. This ended up being perfect. The height is good even at the lowest setting, so I would imagine that it would work great for just about any workbench or counter. The other thing that is a big plus is that you don't see as many high stools with wheels. For my kitchen, or on a clean shop floor, one can roll themselves back and forth with ease. As high as it is, I would suggest that you make sure you have a clean, smooth floor to avoid tipping if a wheel catches, but on my kitchen floor (linoleum) it seems that the wheels won't let the chair roll really quickly. The roll with ease, but you can't just give it a shove and roll across the floor, which whether intentional or not makes it a bit safer.I could ramble on and on, but there are enough reviews to fill in the other details. It is a great stool for anyone who needs that extra height, and a comfy seat. I think it is well worth the price, and at the time I purchased it, Amazon Prime got it to me in the usual two days, and you can't beat that!
