Dermaharmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc Shampoo Bar with Shea Butter by Grace of Me (4 Oz) (Citrus)

This shampoo is fantastic. I have been changing out my shower products for plastic free when I can. This shampoo came highly recommended and I have to agree; it's fantastic. Let me tell you about the lather, holy cow! You do not need much of this at all, just a few swipes across your head and it creates wonderful lather. It's so nice to use. The scent is labeled as citrus. I'll be honest, maybe it's citrus, but it definitely does have a "dandruff shampoo" scent to it. To me, I don't mind at all. It's not objectionable, just not as strongly scented as some other products. For me, this controls my dandruff well. I've been using it for a while and it works as well as or better than store bought products I was buying. It does come in a paper package that has been lined with a "plant based PLA lining." It says it's compostable but not in a home compost pile; it needs a commercial composter. Perhaps I have been wish-cycling it but I have been putting it in my green waste bin. Overall, I love this shampoo!

This is a wonderful shampoo for folks struggling with dandruff and SD. It starts working right away to decrease itching, remove flakes and balance the ph of your scalp so itching, flaky build up won’t return. Easy to use, lathers well, and rinses squeaky clean. My curls are bouncy and perfect after the wash, and normally I only use it 1-2x per week. I love how it’s eco-friendly and super easy to travel with; I also let it drain on a spongy soap holder so it dries completely before the next use. I’ve had mine for 10 months and I’m still using the first bar, which is maybe 3/4 gone. Love the light citrus smell as well. (As a kid I had to use a shampoo with tar and that scent haunts me forever.) It’s a new glorious day with this shampoo bar!

It has a very strong smell that reminds me of zinc based sunscreen. The smell is strong enough that I can smell it in the entire bathroom when it's just sitting in the shower dry. I've only used it twice so far and my scalp seems happy with it versus the head and shoulders have always used, but I don't have bad dandruff just more of a dry flaky scalp. It lathers nicely and my hair definitely feels clean. **update after 4mos, still plenty of bar left, I've gotten down to washing my hair just 1 or 2 times a week, i wash twice with this bar, it lathers much better the second time, telling me my hair is now super clean. i don't notice the smell of this bar in the bathroom anymore. will buy again when its gone.

I've had seborrheic dermatitis my entire life and used all kinds of over the counter shampoos. For me, this bar is as good as any of them and better than some. Of course, with medical things, each person is different. I have used this bar with shoulder-length and pixie-cut fine, thin hair. It lathers well and rinses cleanly. One bar lasts me about 6 months of daily washing, but again, that depends on how much you use with each wash. I've tried different scents and they smell nice coming out of the bag, but after a few uses, there is no scent or it is very light. The bar is a bit large to hold, so I usually cut it into halves or quarters and keep the spare pieces in the original bag until I need them.

I needed help controlling my stubborn seborhrreic dermatitis. Tried various dandruff shampoos and didn't like them. Had only modest hopes for this product, but wow! It does a really nice job. Citrus smell is lovely, but doesn't last long. Nevertheless, I love this shampoo bar. I do have hard water so I have to work to lather it up enough, I made this a little easier by putting the soap inside a hemp bag (those kind you can buy to put your soap in and it makes it kind of a loofah) and it helps make lather when you rub the bar. I also have to work it in quite a bit. Then I let it sit in my hair 5-10 minutes before rinsing. I have hard water but no problems rinsing it out. Not only does it get rid of the flaking and itching, it makes my hair visibly thicker and feels so soft. What an amazing product. I will buy more for sure. Warmly recommended.
