The new label doesn't state that is it food grade, but the description on the Amazon listing states that it is food grade. They should also change the product name on the front label to Apricot Kernel Oil. Both of these changes should be made so people know what they are getting. DUH!

Q: does it smell like apricot at all ... even if its suttle it would be nice

No, it's not a " smelling " oil. It's used more for it's benefits , skin, hair.. Etc. But I don't really notice ANY smell. When there is a smell in lotions, & other items 90% of the time it's a synthetic one, not a true real scent. Some ppl do not like the actual " real" smells of pure oils etc. Because they are so accustom to the artificial fake SMELL, lol... This is a great product, ! Little to no scent . But I highly recommend it !! It's a great oil !! Jenn.R ~

Q: Is hexane used to process this oil?

It states on the bottle "Hexane Free" maybe you should ask the distributor or manufacturer??
