Great book, lots of pictures and clwar explanations, got me confidently using my machine at last. Highly recommend.

Great book good information very usful

Very informative, even though I haven't received my coverstitch machine yet ,Im prepared!! lol

I own and use the overlocker version of this book so when I was contemplating buying an overstitch machine, I bought this book to have a good look at what a coverstitch machine could do. Like the overlock manual, the book is really well-set-out with excellent clear photos and some interesting making tasks to practise the machine's capabilities. Having read it cover to cover, I have decided to buy a coverltitch machine in the new future. This book was worth every penny ;>)

Excellent book. A reference guide that I will keep referring to for years. And great value too. Five stars all day long

So far I like this book, and it has good information and good photos. I just find the print so tiny with too much information crammed into each page, so that’s why only 4 stars. As a beginner, I prefer Johanna Lundström’s book (if I could only have 1), which is so much easier to follow. Having this as a reference will come in handy, though. The other good thing is that it shows several different machines being used. But as I have the Janome Coverpro 2000cpx, I’m able to again follow Johanna’s book easier, as that’s the only one she shows.

As soon as you even start sewing, buying the modern machines either cover machine or over locker or cover/overlocker is the way to go for speed and enjoyment. However, tops of all that are the two books on overlocking and cover stitching by Julia Hinckes! Yes, I have a toolbox just for Machine Foots or feet, have all sorts of aids etc. and have constructed very challenging projects, but I have only been reading these books for a couple of days and have learnt so much about modern glues, thread types, tapes, feet, applications etc. that I can recommend this book to older experienced, and definitely newbies, without hesitation. In my youth I learnt a lot from unpicking clothing and, when charity shops started, used second hand coats etc. to alter to fit. Now, I do not need to do that and order materials from new. However, so grateful for my surprise Christmas presents of these two books from my partner.

Have just purchased this book which has some very good information about using a Coverstitch. Such a learning curve so all ideas appreciated as there are not many modern Coverstitch books available.

Worth ever penny , has so much valuable information. illustrations pictures are perfect.

This is a lovely book. Lots of detail and photos, lots of great information.
