Rheal Mushroom Ground Coffee (Previously Super U), 30 Servings - Organic Arabica Coffee with Lion's Mane, Chaga & Cordyceps Mushroom, Dark Roast

Ordered this after seeing it on Dragons Den. It came very quickly. It is in a good strong package that looks as if it is one with a recloseable zip thing, but I found it very awkward to get into. First I was going to cut the top off, then saw a tab at the side that looked as though you were meant to pull it, which I tried to. I don't have arthritis but I could not pull that tab. Finally ended up cutting off the top and decanting the contents into a jar. It is obviously a resealable pack but I couldn't work out how to open it correctly.It looks and smells good. I wanted to follow the instructions given but found them confusing. It says use 'boiled water', but what does that mean? Is it 'boiling' or water 'just off the boil' or water 'at any temperature'?The biggest confusion was over the measure advised. It says '1 dessert spoon (15g) per 250 ml of boiled water', but on my kitchen scales 15g is 2 level tablespoonsful, not one dessert spoonful either level or heaped. I really feel this should be addressed so as to be clear as to how you think this coffee is best made.Obviously with every new brand of ground coffee one has to get used to what measure best suits ones taste and I will persevere, as I am sure I will enjoy it once I have sorted out what spoon to use.I think it as excellent product; I just had difficulty with the packet and labelling.Further comments after six weeks: This is very much to my taste. I make it exactly as make my other favourite, Taylors 'Lazy Sunday', and think it tastes very similar , just a slight bit smoother and slightly less kick. Lovely.

I purchased this after watching Dragon’s Den recently. This coffee is absolutely superb. I absolutely love the packaging, presented really well and in eco sustainable packaging/recycled materials. Fab, modern and on trend design. The coffee is silky smooth and luxurious to drink. It tastes like coffee, I was a little anxious as to whether it would and whether it would taste like mushrooms, but it doesn’t! Its baffling to think such a luxurious, rich, coffee taste drink is made in the way it is and from mushrooms. I suffer with regular coffee and the tummy discomfort/side effects, so for me, I’m delighted with this. I really feel I, like others, have come across a golden product and it excited to explore the other products available.

For the price I was expecting a lot more. This is very ashy, dark, overly strong taste to it (not really in a good way). Not a very nice after taste either. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Cheaper ones such as 'Vivo Life Magic - Ground Coffee with Mushrooms' is much nicer and the after taste is like chocolate. Maybe at half it's £30 price tag I'd consider buying again if I had too, but at £20-30? never again.

Having tried a previous super u shroom coffee was not that impressed however this new ground version is very different. Smells like fresh grounded coffee and the taste is as good as any coffee served in a coffee shop chain.Mushrooms , what mushrooms? You can't taste of smell them but it's good to know they are blended into this healthy alternative coffee. Will purchase again.

This is a really nice ground coffee. It tastes like coffee so don’t worry about the overpowering taste of mushrooms. Also, love the packaging 😍

I tried this as a bit of an experiment to see if I could get a few more health benefits from my coffee. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the taste was better than my regular brand. The flavour is superb - rich, silky and luxurious. I have since changed to Super U my go-to coffee. High recommended.

Wasn't sure if I should buy or not but so please that I did! Taste is really nice and doesn't have that bitterness that some coffee can have, it just seems smoother as a drink. The mushroom element is very subtle as a taste, if at all, despite them being a core ingredient. As a slight mushroom enthusiast, it's nice to be able to get the health benefits of some of the rarer shrooms in a way that's enjoyable so I'll definitely be buying again!

Smell and taste are excellent. I had some last thing at night and slept really well! I had some in the morning and wanted to sleep again. Maybe I was just tired. Absolutely delicious. Had it cold and hot. Hand pressed, and also percolated. All great. Maybe a tad pricey! Also I’d like to see more real information not just pretty pictures. Will be buying this again.
