Do these actually control the urine odor?

Hi guys - Sean here from Top Dog Central. Our pads are made with a layer of activated carbon which locks in microscopic odor particles before they have a chance to escape into the air. The pads are non-scented, so they don't "mask" odor with any other smells, but rather neutralize it. That said, even the most advanced technology isn't perfect, and there will always be some particles that escape, so we still recommend you change the pads as soon as your pup uses them!Hope that helps!SeanCo-Founder, Top Dog Pet and Home Care

Did the item count go down?  I purchased a box with 100 pads and noticed that the count is now 80 pads.

Hey there loyal Top Dog customers - Just an update about our new box size: We have indeed decreased the item count from 100 to 80 per box. EVERYONE who made purchases at 100 count level will be receiving boxes of 100. Furthermore, anyone who makes a purchase in the next few days even at the new 80 count level will ALSO receive 100 count boxes (20 bonus pads) until we run out of stock on the 100 count boxes sometime this week or early next. Unfortunately, every unit sold at the previous price and quantity was actually costing us more money that we were earning (you'd be surprised how big a piece Amazon takes off the retail). I think I know the answer to this, but want to be sure before I use them - does the black side go up?

Not sure on black pads. If for pets the cotton side goes up. I have the pastel chuck pads. I think the white quilted goes up but not sure as both sides of these pee proof pads feel a little like plastic. I don’t think we want water to sit on top and get tracked, so I’m confused. Any for sure answer?
