Q: Does it help with dry skin?

I purchased this product to help with summer sores; it did not make an material impact on her sores or the dry patches of skin, Other people said it worked on their horses; I didn't have that experience.

Q: can this be used for sallanders in a gypsy?

Yes! My thoroughbred had it, and this cleared it up really quick. He has some cruddy thing going on on his dock....It cleared that also. Make sure you put a generous amount.......MONEY WELL SPENT

I will never order Equiderma from Amazon again. I love this product, and I've had no problems with it when I've ordered from the manufacturer. The two bottles I ordered from Amazon were almost entirely filled with mineral oil. Equiderma is normally a lotion; the product I received neither looked nor smelled like Equiderma.
