Perfect Cover
Exactly what I needed. I have vertigo, and it was hard to find an ironing board cover without dizzying patterns. This one was the perfect color, texture, weight, density, and functionality to give me the perfect surface for all my ironing needs.

Not as heavy duty as they used to be
It's a good size and fit my standard ironing board very easily even over the old cover.The drawstring with its quick release is also a very nice feature, very convenient and quick. No more fumbling with knots, trying to hold the string taut while you tie it. A definite improvement.But as I mentioned the top layer and the silver top layer is not as thick or as thickly padded overall as these once were either. This is one reason I've decided to leave the old worn cover in place and put the new one on top.Fortunately we don't do a lot of ironing in this house any longer so for occasional use it should be just fine for a long while.

does the intended job well
Ironing board cover arrived shrink-wrapped and was so flat and wrinkled in its packaging, I wondered if it would perform its job well. Yes, it does! The cover was easy to pull over my ironing board, and it was easy to pull its edges tight underneath the board with the pull-string. At first, the silver-colored surface was completely wrinkled but with my first ironing of clothing, the cover got more and more smooth. Finally, I ironed directly over the last few wrinkles and now the cover is flat and smooth. All good.

Not good for ironing
I’d give it no stars if I could. It’s not a very good ironing pad for ironing. one you can’t get the wrinkles out. Will not lay flat. The outside edge is not heat resistant and melt soon as your iron touches it and it will leave a residue on your iron.. Very thin. do not buy if you value anything you iron. Waste of money. Pictures are after trying to get it flat.

Doesn't fit that well. Poor padding
Bit too big for our board so it slides around. Not much padding. Don't iron much so not a big deal.
