Basic information is present, but I would like more.

Books like this are full of good information on how to repair all or almost all parts of your vehicle if you opt to do extensive repairs on your own. At the least it can give you insight on what an auto repair facility has told you needs to be done.

Not really a substitute for a proper shop manual. Light on detail, and procedures for some systems are not included.

These are great for general maintenance and repair. I was a little disappointed when the daytime running lamp on our Traverse stopped working on one side and went to diagnose and was hoping to find the wiring diagram for that system. I didn't find it in this book (ended up being a random blown fuse for whatever reason - not the first time on this car - 8 years and two fuses have done this - once each and never again. No repair source is absolutely complete, that's why you have to rely on multiple sources. This is just one of them.

Works great between this and the owners manual I can fix anything
