California Costumes boys Deluxe Pirate Captain Costume (pack of 1)

My son and I were looking forward to this. He loved the way the young model wearing it looked. We ordered a large. Which is supposed to fit a 10 to 12 year old. My son is 8. It is way too small for him. He will use the leggings, hat and sash. But the second issue is the add on that looks like a shirt. It is no shirt. I tied it behind his back in a bow tie. As we were trying to put the jacket on, one of the lines I tied completely unraveled from the sewing. To call this a disappointment, is a major understatement. I will never buy from this producer again. I will never buy from this seller again. The joke, we bought him a costume 3 years ago when he was six. It still fits him. We will use the jacket from that costume. Very disappointed. My son saw me write the review. He asked me: "Daddy, why are you giving them 1 star? Shouldn't you be giving them a zero? I couldn't have said it better.

Great quality! My 8 year old son wore this for Halloween and got the best costume award! The hat that came with it was pretty flimsy, so I ordered a different hat. But the outfit is great!

I purchased this to fulfill my small hooman's dream of being an undead cat pirate queen. I saw this costume and it was perfect. Of course, I made a few alterations and added some things to make our vision come to fruition. IT fit her perfectly and was a great color. I just purchased some pants and removed the vest that was on the inside, only because it got in the way. Otherwise, this was a GREAT and ON TIME purchase and we loved it! Halloween was a HIT!

Got this for my 8yr old and was surprised how good it looked on him. There is lots of detail which puts it a step above other pirate costumes out there. My little guy loves it and is looking forward to wearing it for the school costume parade. It also fits him very well.
