Good Read For All Ages
I ran into Scott on Substack. You should see the pictures of the places he has been. They are absolutely beautiful! I didn’t happen on this book and what he presents until I was in my late 60s and retired. So, I have lived the life he says to consider not living, but more importantly he provides principles for living your best life no matter what that is grown up or not grown up. I enjoyed the book and highly recommend it as my wife and I did eventually start a whole new life of our own choosing and much of what Scott says is of good practical use. If your instincts/intuition is leaning towards buying a copy, that is all you need to know.

Never grow up? Or having the courage to be your best 'grown' self?!
Essential read for all the 'adult children' trying to make their way through life. This book is for everyone and provides a simplistic, yet reflective approach for all the adventures that await!

A Redirection of Perspective and Possibility
Stillman’s book is perfect for teens (and everyone), especially those who may be on that brink of deciding on college, a trade, or the workforce. It is important for young people to know that money isn’t everything, and that achieving the lifestyle that you want will make you happy. Lifestyle first, money last. I loved his perspective on nature and how it tied into the whole book. It was fun reading about what the squirrels must think of us! I think the theme was really on point and helps put hound minds at ease. Life can be whatever you want it to be, and there is more than one way to live it. I love how Stillman explored his personal wants and made his dreams come true. It is nice to read about someone focusing on how to be happy NOW, how finding your own happiness isn’t selfish, and how you need to take action and start living in a way that will make you happy. Don’t wait until you’re retired and old to do the things you always wanted because by then it might be too late. Very good book, thank you for your insightful and wise perspective Scott Stillman.

Very good, a bit extreme in some ideas but good to choose what you need.

Life changing!!
Wow, this book made me want to uproot everything and start new- in the best way possible. I’ve never had the drive to work a 9-5 doing the same thing everyday every week every year. I have multiple jobs that keep me busy and entertained. Working is essential as we all need to make some money and have a sense of productivity, but drowning myself in years of school and debt to spend an eternity paying it off has never been of interest to me. Nor have I ever really known what I want to spend my life doing. I don’t want to do just ONE thing. I wanna explore. Learn. Adapt. Live. This book gave me even more incentive and inspiration to do so. I’m excited to shed my belongings, simplify my lifestyle, and get going. THANK YOU Scott for this wonderful book. It was an easy and enjoyable read. Wonderfully laid out, thought out, and informative. I highly highly highly recommend reading this!!!!!!

Soul awakening book
This book truly changed my life. I have always known I didn’t want to work a 9-5 and stoop to society’s standard of what success meant. As a 21 year old I am constantly asked what my plans are. For a long time I thought my only way was college and then a job in the ONE field I chose at age 20. That is no life I want to live. I have always had a burning passion for nature and the soulful awareness I have when I am outdoors doing what I love most. I am so excited to truly let go of all the things in my life that make me feel heavy and start a life i am truly happy living. I recommend this book to everyone any anyone who is willing to learn and hear from it! Thank you so much Scott Stillman for your insightful mind.

Different than I thought
I saw this book on TikTok, and I thought it would be a self help book, but instead I got a book about a guy writing about his life and working part time. The book isn’t bad though, but the part about money not being the goal while he also talks about being able to afford skiing equipment and such, confused me and made me want to stop reading. The reason you are able to afford your camper van and house was all BECAUSE of money, the reason you can afford to sell everything and live the life you want is from the comfort of money. The reason you even work is because you need money, is it not? I like some of the things he says in this book but most of the time he contradicts himself and tells his audience that the key to living your life is not doing something that he is actively doing. This is just the classic “white privileged man” telling the world that “you can do whatever I’m doing” book.
