I'm sitting here in stinky misery because I strayed from this deodorant. What better time than now to write a review than while I'm awaiting my delivery?I've tried maybe a dozen natural deodorants in the last decade and this is the only one that controls the odor. Every other one I've tried immediately has an undertone of odor that gets worse as the day goes on, even after re-applying.I first started using this back when it was Primal Pit Paste. Yes, the formula seems to have changed since then and it doesn't seem *as* effective, but it glides on easier (the previous formula you had to let it melt on your skin for a few seconds so you didn't end up pulling your pit skin) and still provides all day stink protection. It seems like there's less in the container now, or maybe more comes off now that it's smoother, because the new formula doesn't last as long as the PPP did. Not so great since it's so pricey, but it's the only deodorant that works for me.One of my favorite things is if I forget to immediately put the deodorant on after a shower, no worries. Even if I'm already starting to stink, I put this on and it kills any bacteria already making me smell. No other natural deodorant has ever done that.The only negative I have to say (besides pricing) is that it gives me chemical burns/rashes if I use it every day. It's so strong that I can go several days without reapplying, even after showering. Over time I've found a balance of using it only when I start to smell and that way my sensitive skin doesn't get a rash.If you're getting a rash/burns, stop use until it heals and then try using less frequently or switching off every other day with a milder deodorant.Even when I try to save a few bucks and buy a different deodorant, I always have to come back to this one. I apparently just stink so bad no other deodorant can compare so I swallow the price pill and keep buying.

I have not used the mainstream deodorants for many years. It has taken me so long to find one that has clean ingredients, a nice smell and works well for me not to have BO. I will continue to buy this brand.

Really wanted to support a clean company. I typically use natural clean deodorant but this is SO dry, that it literally doesn’t glide onto my armpits. I have even tried to let the stick “melt” for a couple seconds to improve the glide (body heat) and it doesn’t work. My armpits hurt after putting it on and I now have marks from the stick skipping and roughing up my armpits. I will say it smells great and DOES work (no bo) but cannot take the roughness. Won’t purchase again.

Love the smell. Last all day. Natural.

I like it and it works well. I do hate the name of it..."Pretty Frank". Sounds too much like "pretty boy" or whatever. I give it 5 stars because it works, so it's my current natural deodorant.

I went to a art/craft fair last year and I purchased a homemade deodorant. It was while on vacation, and i purchased one because it was my first time and didn't know how i would like it. Well i loved it, but i was 15 states away from me. this week as i cleaned, i came across the empty deodorant container and looked at the ingredients. I searched for something similar and came across this brand which had exactly the same ingredients. Well guess what? Either its the same people and they expanded, or because they are similar, i loved it as well. I have been using it since i purchased it, and I love the feel, the freshness, the smell. It is a bit on the pricey side. I don't perspire much, its more to keep me fresh. I am glad I came across this and intend to purchase more.

I am used to using Dove, Secret, or Old Spice Deodorants. Although I never experienced any irritation or issues from using those deodorants I thought I might give natural deodorant a try. I tried Lume which worked fairly well but was expensive and did not disclose fragrance ingredients. I read that I should try Pretty Frank next. I purchased the Lavender. After a few weeks of use I noticed it worked okay, I felt I needed to reapply halfway through the day. I started to notice that my underarms were getting a bit red and thought maybe it was a heat rash due to the change of weather. I continued to use the deodorant for a week after I first noticed the redness and one day I felt painful burning in my armpits. Both of my underarms were red and swollen where the deodorant was regularly applied. As soon as I stopped using it the rash went away. I have never had a reaction to deodorant like that and I have no idea what might have caused my reaction as I have no known allergies to the ingredients listed. Purchase with caution.

First, this deodorant is natural and does an amazing job. Big drawback is if you have any sensitivity to baking soda on your skin it will cause a reaction to your underarms. For me it created big welts that look like burns and hurt. I’m so sad because the scent is amazing. Their only option without baking soda smells like man.If you are not sensitive to baking soda buy it because it really works.
