HiSport Racing Fuel Injector IWP162- Compatible with Harley Davidson Replaces 27609-01B, 27609-01, 1022-0113

I bought a set of two for my motorcycle. I didn't want to buy these but everywhere I looked for the American mase injectors they were out of stock. They look almost identical to the ones I had but they were missing the hole that the clip goes into to help secure them but I bent my tab so they still fit. I put everything back together and started the bike. It ran but was sluggish, no power. I then felt the pipe for each cylinder and only one of the 2 got hot. I took them out and tested them. Both had continuity and 15 ohms resistance but when I put a current to them one wouldn't click (opening and shutting the gate) so no fuel was coming out. I can't imagine that that 50% of these are defective but test them first to make sure they work. If you have a mechanic install them you are going to have a lot of money wrapped up in them if he has to keep taking them in and out if they don't work

Well I tried to use these IWP162 fuel injectors!But I tested them before installation. And glad I did!One injector would not work at all when hooked connected to a 12 volt Injector tester.It also had no Ohm reading when connected to a multimeter?The second injector functioned when hooked to 12 volt injector tester. But when 50 pounds of fuel pressure was addedthe second injector leaked when power was removed.So the Moral of the story?Chinese knock offs are pretty poor copies of original IWP162 fuel injectors.Return in progress.

The installation of these injectors is difficult having to move so many major components out of the way makes taking these back out troublesomeOn the second ride, one injector stuck open and filled the crankcase with gas contaminating the oil. Hot day failed NEW PART kind of kills the mood that a long ride can bringInstead a long wait for a tow I cannot recommend these injectors
