Well made
I usually have to buy a new plastic sprayer every year. This well made and performed very well. Easy to use and I don't expect to be replacing it soon

dependable
Excellent sprayer for insecticides and and herbicides etc., etc. Pumps up with little effort and you can easily read the pressure gauge. Well built and engineered for smaller spraying jobs. Love the Longray products.W. O. B.

Moderately good quality. Much better than plastic spayers I've used. Relatively happy with it. Good value
I'm just starting to unpack and test the SP4A sprayer. Seems pretty well made, nice hose, solid materials. Some bits (handle, pump assembly flange) were chromed (over pot metal I assume) and not stainless, I pumped up to 40PSI pretty easily and it seemed like it would go higher with more effort. (ie. good gaskets and seals) The unit did arrive with the wrong literature inside, so I'm taking off one star for that. However I did online chat with Amazon customer support and the agent noted my concern, offered a replacement, and was generally very helpful. The unit included a maintenance kit with replacement gaskets and seals, but I could not see how to disassemble the pump assembly to get to the plunger seal inside. So when the pump seal eventually needs replacement, I'll probably need to replace the entire pump assembly or entire spayer....

Former professional gives rating
I used to be a professional pest control tech. The B&G brand was the standard for professional use, but it’s hundreds of dollars. For an around the house sprayer you use every couple of months, this sprayer is great. Be sure to depressurize it when it’s not in use, and don’t leave liquids in it long term and it will last a very long time.

Could be 5 Stars--1 Star is only Possible (ATM)
I love so much about this sprayer. We purchased it to replace one of many sprayers we use a few times a year, and usually for less than 2 gallons per year. We know how to use sprayers, are careful with seals, joints, over tightening, over pressuring, etc.Unfortunately, since the very first day we purchased this sprayer, it has leaked horribly. Candidly, realizing most of the well designed fittings were just barely over hand tightened, we figured it was that. A month after purchasing, I tightened snugly with appropriate tools but not too tight. Working with pneumatics and sprayers all my life, this was nothing new.Well, after the first tighten, it did leak all over my hand, I thought maybe it was just residual poison and didn't worry about it.Today, I revisited all of the seals and joints. None are overtightened or under tightened. Not seem ruptured. When spraying, I DID NOTICE the hose, where it connects to the handle, leaks with movement. Surely, I checked the fitting tightness and seal. Seems in perfect condition. Yet, at just about any level of (low) pressure, 10-25 PSI, it leaks content all over my hand. This particular stainless sprayer is used for very stout pesticides spot spraying. It is NOT the kind of compound I want running down my hand and dripping over my fingers.I hope, given the fact that it has only been used 3 times and for a total of less than 3 tanks full, the manufacturer will properly replace the small hose, demonstrating that the most basic use of this expensive sprayer is worthy and I wasn't better off purchasing a $18 Home Depot special as my wife directed me to do.I'll keep all updated.Good luck.

Sturdier than I Expected
Construction, fit, and finish was better than I expected. Did not find any leaks over a 48 hour period. The wand could be longer.

Nice Sprayer BUT has a bad flaw !!
I purchased the 1 Gal. SP4A sprayer. The sprayer itself appears to be well built but the one major flaw that I experienced is that the pump is just too short to enable the user to effectively pump the unit to a descent pressure unless you want to pump 100 times to get it to pressure! The catch 22 is that the sprayer is nice and compact BUT it then does not allow for a sufficient length for the pump to be utilized effectively to get pressure into the tank without pumping "A LOT" of times. The only other design that is not up to par is the tiny U clip that is used to hold the spray wand on the tank. Once again due to the short compact size the clip and cradle for the spray wand is only about 4 inches apart which really does not hold the want securely at all. They should have designed a clip that you can snap the wand into either on the top of the pump handle and/or on the side so you could just friction clip it in place, and it would hold the wand more securely. The only reason that I will not return the sprayer is that the holder for the wand is an easy fix by the user and a couple of dollars if you are handy and the pump issue will be to just fill the tank to pressure with a compressor which I have using the tanks Schrader valve. They really should look at designing a pump similar to what is used on hand air pistols, which are small but yet effectively can put a lot of air into the tank with every pump.
