The media could not be loaded.  This Spolehli Scoreboard with Tripod Multisport Scoreboard arrived very well packed with all needed parts included. The assembly of the tripod took me a bit to understand, but watching the video included on the Amazon listing was very helpful in finally understanding how to do it.There are two ways to attach the scoreboard to the tripod, vertically or hanging. I preferred the hanging option since the scoreboard/tripod combination is less top heavy that way. Watch the tripod assembly video on the Amazon listing for a great way to see the difference and how to put it together for the way you prefer.Operation of the scoreboard takes some fiddling to get the hang of it. It's fairly intuitive and once you've used it a few times it becomes second nature. The scoreboard LED's have five brightness settings, enough so that it's easy to get it adjusted for the proper brightness for your environment. For inside my living room the lowest brightness settings is best. This can get bright enough for use outdoors in the sun as well though.It does require an AC power source, which is no problem when used indoors. For outdoor use, I have a couple portable AC power sources that operate from lithium ion batteries. This scoreboard being all leds, does not take much power to operate. It uses less than 3 watts so on the portable AC power source I have it will last over 99 hours. That's plenty of portable power for a weekend basketball or soccer tournament.The remote control, which is used to control all aspects of the scoreboards' operation, works via wifi, and not ir. That means it does not have to be pointed at the scoreboard to work. It can also be up to 70 feet away. Those are both advantages when operating the scoreboard during a game, especially when outdoors.The quality of the scoreboard is quite good, and I've had no issues with how it operates.

I am coaching a brand new semi pro football team. We only have practice field facilities for our games, so this was a great alternative to be able to run a game clock and keep score. Since there is no power at the facility, it was rather easy to get a battery box with a deep cycle battery and mount a small power inverter to it. It runs the scoreboard for hours and hours effortlessly. I'm very satisfied.

First, the things I like. This is super bright. The brightness is adjustable which is good. It's way too bright for an indoor smaller room event. The dimming is great. At the same time, this is probably bright enough to be seen in bright daylight. This is configured for several sports with a number of presets. Fortunately, mine did come with a basic instructions sheet so I was able to see how to work it. As other reviewers have said, it takes some figuring out. It's not all that intuitive but at least the remote is clearly labeled. It has a sufficiently jarring beeping noise that sounds a bit like a smoke detector going off. It isn't loud enough to be heard over a crowd but it's plenty loud to be heard several doors down if you're indoors.The frame is extruded aluminum so it's actually metal and feels pretty durable. The face could get broken if hit just right but that would be the case no matter what. This isn't a bad thing, only something to be aware of. There are plastic parts on the back and on the sides. These areas are protected so it's not a strength issue but it is interesting to see the mold they use for this model is also used for an upgraded model because there are holes for ethernet jacks, a USB-sized hole, and another which would probably be used for another interface for a corded remote or computer. This model doesn't have those features. Additionally, there are no mounting instructions. There is an aluminum plate with screw holes that fits with some small plates in the bottom of the aluminum frame which adds a threaded hole to work with tripods. There are also some angle brackets included which work with some side holes. There are not instructions to help with this. Instructions would be nice.There are a couple things about the Spolehli Football Scoreboard with Tripod Multisport Scoreboard that could really be improved. First, the tripod is garbage. I've included a photo. It's not level and it's extremely lightweight. I am a photographer and have more tripods than I could ever need because they often come as parts of kits and things. This is the worst one I have. I've already thrown it out. If you spend more than $200 on your scoreboard don't trust it to this tripod. Buy anything else. The tripod would be a 1/5 stars on its own. Next, this is supposed to be portable and versatile. The AC adapter has a 3'6" cord. It can't possibly reach an outlet if the tripod is even partly extended. If you are outdoors you will need both a battery pack of some sort and an extension cord just to reach the scoreboard. The final complaint about this portable scoreboard is that it doesn't come with a canvas case or any way to safely transport it. It would be really nice if it came with a bag of some sort to keep it safe.I visited the Spolehli Amazon store and there are several other scoreboards. I'm not certain why this one is priced as it is or what's better about some of the other ones.

When we received the scoreboard it was missing a piece and we weren't able to connect it to the stand. The seller was very responsive and quickly sent the missing piece. But the first time we used the scoreboard it broke. The piece connecting the scoreboard to the legs wasn't strong enough and the whole scoreboard tipped sideways. We had to tape it together to use for the day. We will have to throw it away because it is unusable without someone standing and holding it the whole time. Moreover, the unit itself was very difficult to use; we couldn't figure out how to easily adjust the timer and it wouldn't turn off the shot clock feature, so someone had to wait and press start every 24 seconds to restart the clock. Very disappointing how poorly made this unit is for the price.UPDATE: After posting this initial review, the company reached out to rectify the issue. It seems that they have upgraded the tripod connection piece to help with the stability issue. In addition, the user manual was left out of our shipment which made it difficult to use. Responsive customer service but ultimately this scoreboard is not going to work for us.

So, I got this for my son's gaming to show number and all other game related things, and to be honest with you works just fine, but it has a small screen which makes thing hard to read. Tripod is included and it's very sturdy.
