Dries clear and easy to use
This is my go-to UV resin. I have never had any issues with finishing my jewelry or adding protective layers to other things. It dries clear and doesn’t yellow !

Works just Fine!
Ok, under duress...I am giving this written portion of the review process. The heading says it all...this stuff does work like it is supposed to work. One thing I can offer to other UV Catalyzed adhesive is to get yourself a couple...or one, 3Watt 365 nanometer LED. Get a heat sink and put the thing together as it is very simple. Most of these leds give you the voltage required, etc., I highly reccomend that you purchase the led that is already embedded in a plastic shell which makes it very easy to work with. So buy a 3 Watt LED already mounted in a "BEAD" (thats the way it is described by the vendor on Amazon) surrounded by metal with its positive and negative tabs that mount on the heat sink. The sinks are listed nearby on amazon. This baby will cure the heck outa this adhesive real fast. Also if you have luminous powder that you are using for various projects...the 365 nm led will charge it up real well. I use it for my super luminova. BUT alot of the charging effect is related to what type of powder you are using. Different rare earths absorb and then re-transmit other wavelengths of visible light....some require different wavelengths of uv to get charged up real good. Oh well, I stop now with my demanded written review.

Good Resin
I am a beginner with pouring resin and this was my first project. This product is easy to use and manipulate if you are mixing different colors. I used a nail uv light to cure the resin. It does cure quickly so make sure you have everything in place. I found that if you cure it with the light too close it will produce smoke as mentioned in other reviews. Curing from about 10-12 inches away quickly fixed that issue. I did have 1 project come out sticky. This was easily fixed by curing the piece in a glass of water. I used alcohol ink to color my pieces and have been having lot of fun creating beautiful handmade jewelry to add to my shop.

Better than other uv resin I’ve tried
I had given up on uv resin after using 3 other brands that were full of bubbles and shrinkage on top of the yellowish tone. I don’t have a pressure thing to suck air bubbles out, so I figured uv resin is not for me other than as glue basically. I thought all the brands were pretty much the same, repackaged and sold as whatever label, so I was v pleasantly surprised when I tested this out and saw almost no bubbles. And I wasn’t trying to do a good job, I literally grabbed a dirty mold and put the resin in just to get an idea, so I’m sure it can improve given the right prep. While I do still see some Slight yellow tone, that is only when comparing to something truly clear, but on its own, it looks great, and I’m pretty sure all resin will have a hint of yellow anyway. I would also say it’s a stretch to use this in a thicker mold like the ball or cube kind and expect it to look like glass 100%, but I’m really happy I tried this one out and will buy again!

Not a clear resin
I typically use 2-part epoxy resin, but the long cure times left a lingering desire for something a little quicker for the simpler pieces I wanted to make. I chose this product because it had decent reviews and was a decent price at the time. Why not at least try?The first thing I noticed was the smell. I’m not typically sensitive to smells. I work in a paint shop, and things like that don’t tend to bug me much. Chemical smells are part of life for me. The 2-part resin I’m used to has its own scent, but it’s more like fresh plastic. This reminded me a little bit of cat pee mixed with industrial chemicals. I set up a small fan, and after about 15 minutes either the fan did its job or I stopped noticing the smell and it didn’t bother me anymore. I’ll jump ahead a bit here and say I went for a short walk several hours after I put my resin away for the day, and when I came back, it was obvious I’d only grown used to the smell. My place smelled terrible. 1 point for 2-part resin.I poured some resin into a mold cavity and it felt pretty similar to 2-part resin in terms of consistency. To be fair, it is actually a little hard to judge that. The thickness and workability of 2-part resin changes so much so fast. It was certainly refreshing to not have to worry about getting that dang resin into that dang mold before it’s useless. This stuff is the same consistency until you choose to cure it. That is certainly a point for UV resin.I only tried a couple things. I tried several clear pieces and a few with translucent dye. I was a little worried about UV light not hitting every part of the mold if I put too much stuff in, so I started off slow. I initially followed the instructions on the bottle to cure my pieces. I could tell immediately that there had been some minor shrinking of pieces that were about 1/2”x1/2”x1/4”, but it didn’t warp or alter the fine details of the mold at all. It all shrunk consistently, seemingly towards the center. No big deal for me, but might be more noticeable/problematic in larger pieces or pieces that require precise measurements. The instructions weren’t quite right as far as I could tell. Perhaps it was my UV lamp though, and it didn’t take too much longer than the instructions stated. I left everything under the lamp for an additional 2 minutes or so and they felt much harder. 4-5 minutes is still a lot faster than 24 hours. 1 point UV resin… or is it? My translucent dye pieces were a total nightmare and did not cure consistently. It occurred to me that perhaps light wasn’t getting to certain areas of the resin, so it wasn’t able to cure properly. Exactly why I’d left out solid/opaque add-ins. I tried going lighter on the dye, and got a fairly similar result. Then I tried going way, way, waaaaay lighter on the dye, was left with something barely pigmented, and it cured just fine. But I don’t personally care much for light, barely pigmented colors. This experiment left me feeling like plain and clear was the best option for UV resin. Boring. 1 point 2-part resin after all.The big problem for me here, however, is that this resin does not cure clear, period. I do not make large pieces. My usual piece is just barely under 1/4” thick, and the “yellowness” is undeniable. I can’t imagine what color a larger, thicker piece might end up.I thought it might work okay for doming or clear-coating other pieces. Perhaps a much much thinner coat might still be a little more yellow than the 2-part resin, but would be clear enough to coat brightly-colored pieces. I was wrong. It significantly altered the colors underneath even at thicknesses of about 1/16”. After my experience, I’ve ultimately determined that 2-part resin offers significantly more freedom and is worth the wait. I think my bottle of this product will go unused until I eventually throw it away. While this product won’t work for me personally, it does cure quite hard, is easy to use, and the tip attached to the bottle is quite convenient. Perhaps if you don’t particularly mind a clear that isn’t quite clear or what you’re doing requires an antiqued look, you’ll like this resin. If you’re looking for an unmistakable clear or hoping to protect bright, clean colors, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Very good resin, will buy again
Bought this based on a review on YouTube. Best price. Like this a lot but found there is a bit of a learning curve. I use to resin coat fishing lures. Found that heating the resin prior to brushing it allows it to flow and level nicely and have less bubbles. Experiment with time under UV lamp. Will buy this again.
