It is beautiful but not made in Ireland
This was a lovely piece of Crystal that will be treasured for a long, long time. Having lived in Ireland, I expected Waterford Irish crystal to be made in Waterford, Ireland. These were not, but they are still very nice.

I gifted this to a female friend. Since we are both of Irish descent, I wanted to give something Waterford to mark an occasion. The box does have written on it " a reminder of how much i love you: which is appropriate more as a romantic gift than a platonic one. My friend loved it anyway.
