Exactly what I expected and needed. It works great to attach my transmitter to for my computer.

I needed this for My Shearwater Teric's AI unit. I just don't like the idea of it the AI sticking directly off the side of the first stage. It could be used by a dive helper as a handle or the AI could just break off if the tank drops over. This hose provides a proper solution. I am aware that putting in an extra hose is always adding in an extra failure point, so if your going to do it put in the best hose you can buy. That is why I chose MiFlex brand, it's painfully expensive but it's the best. Just make sure you pick up a "High Pressure Swivel Spool" adapter. If you don't have that the air will be leaking out around the AI unit. BTW pick up two as it's good to have a spare spool in your O-Ring box.

Connect transmitter to regulator first stage. Note that you need an air spool for this to work.

Purchased this for improved location of an older AI transmitter that has some connectivity issues if screwed directly to a high pressure port on the first stage. Ended up purchasing newer transmitters, but still intend to use this with secondary tanks.

I purchased two of these hoses one for me and one for my wife. The purpose was to connect a wireless tank transmitter and to move them off my first stage regulator. We were doing a liveaboard SCUBA trip in Belize. Both hoses started leaking badly after 3 dives. The leaks were coming from the sliding coupling. They were not tiny bubble leaks either.....we had to abort two dives the leaks were so bad. Also the leaks were coming from the exact same place on both hoses....that shows me there is a design and/or manufacturing flaw. Save your money and more importantly protect yourself. These hoses are just dangerous. I could see how they could really cause a problem with your SCUBA diving. Lucky for us the leaks were detected at shallow depths. Down deep and a diver could be in serious trouble with these hoses blowing apart.
