Use once before product performs extremely well

I’ve been treating a 50 year-old septic system regularly with enzymes. Because it’s age, It has developed very thick bio mats. I’ve used septic shock as my main go to and it has helped a bit. I’ve also used green gobbler. I would usually add enough enzyme to treat about 6 thousand gallons. This would go right into the feed line/D box. But within six months, the field would start to back up again. It seemed the water would never completely drain from the pipes. So I tried septic liberator. I followed the instructions very carefully. I checked the water level daily. It was barely going down for four days, then on the fifth day, it was like the floodgates opened in the system completely drained. The enzymes must have gotten through some bio mats that completely opened up a section of the septic that hasn’t been working in many years. I have to say this is the product I would recommend the most if you have septic issues. My septic system has never been running better than it is now.

Well, contrary to most of the reviews, this DOES NOT WORK. At least, in my case. I have applied 8 jugs in 3 months and NO CHANGE at all, except to my bank account. My situation is: septic installed in late 1985 with a standard drain field (some call it a leach field). Normal 1000 gallon tank for a 3 bedroom small house for 4. Pumped every 5 to 7 years as suggested. Started having issues about spring of 2004 with toilets gurgling when taking long showers. Experts came and stated that the drain field needed to be dug out and replaced so I started using this MAGICAL product. Well, here we are with the exact same conditions with no change in performance and much less money in the bank account. Buyer Beware!

Be patient. Not instant gratification

Because we dont have city sewage but have our own septic tank, we have to be very careful how we treat any clogged drain. We have to make sure we maintain the bio-balance in the tank.

So we just bought a house. Stuff bteaks, first house and whatnot. Septic tank cover falls in, we dunno why and now we need a whole new tank. Owned the place a month, so that sucks. Guy comes and tells us its not draining fast enough and we'll probably need a 15k drain field too. We're furious, but it isnt his fault. He says he'll give it a little while to be sure. We dropped a jug of this in there and a month later, it was draining faster and there was no standing water in the yard. We added a second after six weeks to get it where it needs to be, but it definitely worked.

I read the directions three times. It didn't mix with warm water, I even let it set in the bucket for several hours hoping it would mix with water. I even used A drill and A paint mixer attached to the drill, mixed it every several minutes. The solution clogged up my toilet too. The worst part is it's been months since I poured it down the toilet and I still have the same exact backing up problem. I just literally poured $175 down the drain!!! That money could have went toward A plumber.

Purchased two by recommendation of our septic guy. Poured one into septic tank and about 3 months later the second one. Didnt make any difference in the tank or drainage. Was hopeful I would at least see a slight improvement.

Huge waste of money

I have a biomat problem. It's clogging up our mound so it won't drain well. Can't really tell if this did anything or not.

i mixed it with plenty of water and dumped it in the sceptic tank section closest to the drain field. After 3-4 days we saw the grass getting greener up to the drain connection, it has been a month now, and we see the whole field getting greener. It works as advertised.
