My toddler loves cleaning. Could one section of the handle be left out to shorten the mop?

I do not believe the handle will assembly correctly if you leave the middle section out.

Where can I purchase mop heads?

I had mop heads from the brand that was sold "As Seen on TV" that fit this mop. I think they may be standard for all.
