Use for my hens when they go through pecking ordersAlso one spray of this has them marching to bed

The spray is easy to use but I'm not sure how effective it is as an anti-bacteria spray. The treated hen survived, but she may have done anyway without the spray so it is hard to review.

Great product

I have been keeping chickens and other game birds for several years. Unfortunately my birds have had perhaps more than their fair share of wounds over the years - everything from cuts on their combs, to toe nails and spurs and blood feathers ripped off, even very severe wounds from a fox attack. I cannot stress enough the importance of keeping a well stocked animal first aid kit including an assortment of good antiseptic products.This spray seems great - it is a good large bottle, claims to be safe and natural, and has a pleasant minty herbal scent. It certainly works well to flush out a wound and is probably good at preventing harmful bacteria growth... However, I say *probably* because i cannot be certain of the antiseptic effectiveness since there are no ingredients to be found anywhere.This is a recurring problem throughout this entire range and seems very strange. In a real emergency I would not trust this product alone to disinfect a wound as I do not know what it is made of. Therefore I cannot recommend it.I hope you find this helpful.

Bought this ani bac bird spray for one of our disabled doves who has a problem with his feathers. It has definitely soothed them and he is not pecking at them as much.

It is made from a vegan blend of 100% natural ingredients.It can be used to help deter any mites or keep clean bites.It very easy to use and apply and good value for money. It isn't a very thick spray, so doesn't clump up when sprayed onto the chicken.The only thing that lets all of C&G's chicken sprays down is that none of them seem to contain written information on what ingredients are actually inside the bottle. So although it says its made from 100% plant based ingredients, we can't we 100% sure that's correct. It has a very herby smell to it, almost like tea tree oil, which is a really good natural deterrent for mites etc. Overall, I am happy with this product and will continue to use them.I hope you found this review helpful.
