I'm one to give anything a try once. Especially when it comes to anime I like to draw my own conclusion, but this movie! Oh no, what a disaster. I kept waiting for something to happen or for a good explanation for what little was happening.SPOILER ALERT: A girl doesn't like that her mom is about to remarry so she wants to run away. A boy who likes her uses an inexplicable device that the girl found on the beach to rewind a segment of time to help the girl run away because he loves her. Every rewind changes the physical world around them. It sounds reasonable, but the execution was completely haphazard. Nothing is explained or concluded to any sort of satisfaction. Not worth the money.

Fireworks is a charming and somewhat somber movie. Often compared to the highly praised "Your Name", it deals with similar themes but is entirely its own movie.It poses an interesting scenario: What if you could change your greatest mistake? How many times would it take for you to get it right?The story is simple. A girl happens upon a pearl in the sea, and it has the ability to rewind time. She plans to elope to escape from being forced to move to a new town. The protagonist eventually winds up caught in the middle and uses the pearl to change his mistakes. This is a bit of an abstract movie. As the main characters continue to repeat cycles and attempt to change the past, the further away from reality they get and the movie reflects that. There are sequences in the final act that come off as downright strange, but they are open to some interpretation. The ending itself is vague, though one can come to a solid conclusion if they think about it enough. The animation and visuals are a sight to behold, the music is outstanding and both the English and Japanese voice acting is convincing and emotional.If you are open to a story that will make you think and draw your own conclusions, then Fireworks is definitely for you.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Last year he had bought me Your Name and we both loved it. So I decided to buy him Fireworks. Fireworks was very interesting, beautiful, emotional and funny movie. We both enjoyed the artwork of the movie very much. The plot of the story was very interesting which I won't spoil it, because it takes away from actually enjoying the movie.

One of the very best movies in the prolific anime subgenre of high school romance, Fireworks starts off with a familiar premise - two longtime friends become rivals when they fall for the same girl - and then takes it off in another direction. The two friends, Norimichi and Yusuke, both become enamored with Nazuna, who alternates between perky and melancholy moods. Her mother and new stepfather are planning on moving with Nazuna from their smaller town setting to the big city, and Nazuna comes up with a plan to go on the run, and chooses Norimichi to be her co-escapee. Things go wrong however, and Norimichi thinks if only he could go back in time to that specific incident, maybe everything would be alright. With this being anime, he actually finds a talisman that does just that, and he and Nazuna sidestep their mistake and go on. But then another hitch comes along, and Norimichi has to send them back yet again. The movie unfolds in this way, with the pair making it further and further each time, but are they moving further from reality itself?This is a joy of a movie to see, even though there's a thick vein of sadness running through it. It's a beautiful sadness though, if that makes any sense. Great characters, beautiful animation, highly relatable plot elements, and that special kind of cinema magic that is so often so strong in anime, all boost this one way up. 10/10.

The story was way better than people have been saying. Animation was nice with some intense visuals. The only thing I really did not care for was the 3d models which could have been handled more convincingly and fit better with the other artwork if hand drawn.

I really don't see how this got such great reviews. The movie just doesn't make much sense. It's almost like somebody had a fever dream and then just turned it into a movie. It's a shame because it's from the same people who made "Your Name" which was an awesome movie. I got it for my girlfriend who loves these types of movies, and neither one of us could figure out the point. Bottom line, poorly written and just overall boring and pointless. Don't waste your money on it.

I loved Your Name, and had high hopes for this. It wasn’t horrible, but as the title says it is visually a masterpiece... but the characters fall flat with the story. There’s really no development. And I need the story to really move forward and the characters to well develop.

Stunning imagery.Plot twists on top of plot twists, that DO get resolved, unlike so many other ambitious storylines I endured.Very much a keeper.

It was an okay movie, but it's pretty repetitive since the premise is going slightly back in time to change a recent event. So you'll be watching a variation of the same scenes a few times. It's also an over the top teen romance anime film, so you have to enjoy or at least be able to tolerate them to watch this. It's one of those movies I need to also be playing a game to be able to sit through it.

Por primera vez desde que compro en amazon tengo una mala resena.Me ofrecian un reembolso ya el mismo dia que tenia que llegarme la pelicula con la excusa de que el objeto se ha danado sobre el trayecto o porque el repartidor no ha encontrado mi casa... Bien echo amazon.

He visto gente que la pone incluso por encima pero no sabría por cuál de las dos decidirme. Película fundamental para entender el manga actual y que te llena de ensoñaciones de principio a fin, tanto para adultos como para un público más adolescente, una buena muestra de que el género puede dar algo más de si que "Ataque a los titanes".

Me encanta esta película de los creadores de your name, la historia y personajes son hermosos, por este precio no podía dejarla escapar para mí colección. Muy satisfecha con esta compra !

Le thème du voyage dans le temps est souvent représenter dans ces dessins animés, souvent les fins vous laissent sur votre fin , j'ai adoré La traverstraversée du Temps, celui ci se regarde tranquillement
