Great product, not UL listed. Best used with LED's.
I bought the oval, chrome 18 socket fixture. This fixture is assembled well. There are several options for the height, including the shortest 8" stem which I needed for my room. Be sure to wear gloves upon installation to keep the finish clean. When assembling the stems, I recommend twisting the stem counter clockwise 2 or 3 times before starting the threads so when the stems are fully screwed in there is not too much strain on the wire terminals. Also, this fixture is not UL listed. I'm not sure why not, but it may have to do with the 18 gauge wire x 18 sockets. I strongly advise using LED bulbs with a lower wattage for this fixture. The individual sockets say 40 watt max but 40w at 110v x 18 brings you VERY close to the max rating of 18 gauge wire (~7 amps).Even if you want the Edison bulb look, do yourself a favor and get the Edison Led bulbs, they are more expensive but last many times longer, a far superior in efficiency and will not cause the wire to heat up.I used the hyperikon led's (I'm a big fan of their bulbs) with a Lutron dimmer recommended by hyperikon's website. There is zero buzzing because it's the right dimmer. If you want to buy a cheap dimmer, expect some buzzing.Overall a great fixture for the price, I would definetly recommend. Just be careful with your cumulative incandescent wattage.

Happy camper 😊😊😊
This Sputnik light fixture is perfect. It really couldn't have been any easier to install. I received it in 2 days and installed it the same day. It is super easy to assemble. Took us about 45 total minutes. The fixture is of really nice quality and definitely has some weight to it. We have it on a normal flat ceiling but the down rod connects to a swivel which allows you to hang this fixture on a sloped ceiling with no problem in case you might be wondering. We have a dimmer switch as well, and I highly recommend installing one with it if you don't have one. It really sets the mood. I highly recommend this product. It's perfect! I can't stop looking at it 😁😁😁

AMAZING!
This light fixture is absolutely gorgeous. No other piece in my home receives more praise and attention. Could easily pass off as a fixture that cost 5 times as much. The assembly and installation couldn't have been easier. As one reviewer had mentioned, best to wear gloves when putting this together to avoid smudges and fingerprints. 18 bulbs maybe lighting overkill but pair this with a dimmer and it's perfect. Highly recommended!

"Captures the Mid-Century Modern Look"
"Beautiful" fixture - really captures the midcentury modern look. The "brass" finish is very nice, and overall the fixture is well engineered and fully adjustable to the desired hanging distance from the ceiling.I would have given this fixture "5 stars" - but, the ceiling canopy which holds the weight of the fixture was drilled with holes a little too large for the heads of the brass screws supplied. Consequently, when the screws were moderately tightened, the screws popped thru the canopy to the mounting bracket - holding nothing. An easy fix using two small brass washers (not supplied and requiring a trip to the hardware store) securely kept the screws in place. Still, I am very satisfied with the light fixture !

Perfect style at a great price
After looking at many other options at a much higher price, I'm so pleased with the look and quality of this light. Installed it on a dimmer abover our mid-century style dining table.

Not Oval
Pro:Easy to assemble.Con:IT IS NOT OVAL . I spent more on this fixture thinking that it was oval, yet it is round just like all the rest you find for $100 cheaper .

The main wires are pretty thin, so go easy on the power
Someone suggested using LED or CFL only on this lamp and I agree. The main wires are pretty thin, so go easy on the power.PROS: Very nice for the price. It does have a UL listing if you check the cover.CONS: Hard to hang by yourself. You may need a friend or something to rest the lamp on for the last step of installation. The wire cover is also the weight bearing point, so you need to connect the wires in the grounded cup mount and then hang the weight of the lamp with the cover. YES, the shiny cover holds all the weight to the grounded mount with 2 screws... $250 remember ;) The little glove that comes with it is pointless. If you are worried about fingerprints, use your own gloves. I ended up just cleaning it up with a soft microfiber afterwards. No big deal.

I couldn't stop looking at this for a week or two
This exceeded my hopes, and I'd give it ten stars if I could.
