Can I use it to spray shoes

I mean its a spray gun. You can spray your dog with this thing dont know why in the heck you'd want to but you could.....

What is the diameter of the cup? Strainer I have will only work in a 2” - 2.375” cup size.

The cup that came with the .8 needle model is about 1.25" diameter.

What is the optimum pressure to operate the HG 08

It depends on what kind of paint you are using ,for me I use Du Pont centari acrylic enamel and use 30 to 35 lbs air pressure.

Can this be used to spray cocoa butter?

It can spray anything it is the right consistency.
