The controls for the product does not work, the remote was faulty and the app did not work properly. Drone lifted after setting up however rudders did not work and the drone kept on going on it's own and landed in the water. It is a cheating and fraud with the faulty product.....complete scam. Will not recommend this product to anyone.

Good for beginners like me but more experienced people may want a little more

For the price I was completely surprised from the moment I opened it, till the moment I needed to recharge the batteries and fly again. The quality was great for the price. This JJRC H71 drone is worth every penny. Comes in a beautiful carry case, with service tools, 4 prop guards, 1 spare set of propellers, 2 flight batteries, USB charging chord and easy to understand instructions* Of course the remote “with phone holder” and the H71 drone.The H71 comes ready to fly and completely assembled. You only need 4 AA batteries for the remote control. Since I’m not a drone specialist, I suggest reading the instruction manuals and make yourself familiar with your new drone before you get excited and go fly. Following the instructions from the manufacturer made my first flight a success as seen in my video. The optical flow positioning was on in the first part of my flight which restricted my flight attitude to about 35ft. The drone shimmers at the max optical height, letting you know you have reach the optical flow positioning maximum altitude. Optical flow is great for selfie photos, low altitude filming, indoors and beginner flying. It uses a small camera on the bottom of the drone to determine its altitude and positioning. Kinda like a cheap GPS. I land in the video midway and turn off the optical flow positioning which now allows me to fly higher altitudes. In the video it’s 32F with a 7-10mph wind, at sunset. Video and photo quality is great for its size. Amazon compresses the video and photo size when you upload. So expect better quality on your device after filming or taking photos with this drone.*The only issue I found was the JJRC TST app they ask you to download never worked with my H71 JJRC drone. The instructions have you download the app so you can save video and photos during your flights. It also allows you to live view “FPV” your flight on your phone. It never worked for me. Crashed shortly after opening it. I downloaded the “JJRC” app and it worked awesome. I assume the manufacturer update the drone but not the instructions they send with the drone. If you search JJRC in your App Store all apps by JJRC will pop up. Download the one labeled as JJRC with no after words like TST, FPV, Drone...using the app allows for a lot of extra features I suggest it.I find this drone perfect for the novice and advanced drone lovers. It’s a great little fun filming and photo platform for anyone wanting to mess around for a few bucks.

I really want to be honest with you. This is a mediocre drone for beginners with this price. It is not perfect. If you want to see a good drone, you need to pay at least 1000 dollars. It was very hard to use for the first time. Almost I spent two or three days to learn this drone and I am still discovering new things. When it hits somewhere the blades are going to be taken off. When you put them wrong it will be devastating. It is very dangerous if anyone is around this drone. You need to start learning it outside, then you can control it inside if you want. It hurt my fingers for the first time when I try to caught it. Read the manual first sentence by sentence. I did the battery test it lasted around 11 or 12 minutes. When the battery is low, it doesn’t stay stable and also use the low signal from the controller. I like controller than the phone control. Phone control is very hard to use. I suggest that you use the controller to fly it and use the cell phone for the recording. I suggest that you use the controller to fly it and use the cell phone for the recording. I never used the GPS mode. I suggest that also use the protectors around the blades and it’s not going to hurt you. Whenever I said here you can find it in the video which is about 11 minutes. I showed all the possibilities during flying the drone. Watch the video patiently. Overall I will give four stars for the drone.

Well build, stable flight. My 9 year old was able to get it up and running with only a little bit of assistance, so good for low cost entry level. The controls are intuitive, and it's fun to use. The propellers are a little fragile, since they are necessarily so lightweight, but they provide 4 extra props, and an extra batter, which is awesome. We're probably going to need to get some more, as my kids like to play chase with it.The camera function works well, too, but you wont be using this for high altitude surveillance. But it's a lot of fun for not a lot of money. Highly recommend if you are considering getting an entry level drone.
