I use these regularly and they really prevent cold sores. This is my second lot and they are far better than any cream on the market. They are a bit big to swallow but if you take them with a smoothie or yoghurt drink they are fine.

I have been using Llysine to prevent coldsore outbreaks for a few months and it seems to help. I have one a day and then between 3 and 4 a day if I feel a outbreak about to come on and it seems to stop it in its tracks. I have been using Nature's aid 1000mg till now (The yellow tablet on the right) . Both are larger than a average pill but once you are used to it its no different from swallowing any food. I think this Nutravita1100mg (white tablet) feels even easier to swallow even tho it is a tiny bit larger, but it is curved better so goes down easier! I Like the super large bottle so only have to purchase 2 or 3 times a year.

I've only started to take these today so cannot speak about their effectiveness yet. I'd ordered these because they were advertised as 'easy to swallow' but this, to me, on opening the bottle, can see this is deceptive. They are not easy to swallow. They are huge. What I'd like to suggest to anyone else who couldn't even begin to take these for fear of them getting stuck, do try taking oe with a thick smoothie to see how you go. This is what I am doing. It's the only way I could take them. I've been taking another brand of Lysine for the last few months and am just experiencing a severe herpes outbreak, which doesn't say much for the brand. I'm hoping this one will improve things. Time will tell. I'll carry on taking them for now but I need the smoothie to carry them down, or choke.

Order these for our son since H&B have had problems keeping these in store. He was suffering with cold sores, but not since he’s been using these regularly! They’re a good price and I’ll continue to reorder.

Too large . Almost choked , then snapped it in half the next day and feel like I’ve scratched my throat . Not recommend

Always buy this product to prevent or reduce likelihood of cold sores. Good value for money on Amazon and better strength of product than I previously bought on the high street for many years.

Ok for putting in my blender but so big impossible to swallow without choking

Les gélules sont un peu grosses et pas faciles à avaler, mais le résultat est là. Depuis que j’en prends, je n’ai presque plus de boutons de fièvres, et les rares petits que j’en ai disparaissent très vite. Vraiment top comme produit quand on a des boutons de fièvre à répétition 👍🏻

Presa per una parente che soffriva di herpes labiale molto frequentemente, non ha più avuto l'herpes da quando la assume, cioè da 6 anni. La cosa incredibile, prendete sta cosa con le molle, l'ho consigliata a una mia amica col marito in pieno fuoco di Sant'Antonio, ma solo per il futuro nell'ottica di prevenire una ricaduta, consigliandole anche degli integratori per rafforzare le difese immunitarie. L'ho risentita dopo nemmeno una settimana e mi ha detto che le aveva dato quei prodotti subito, di sia iniziativa, e che il marito era guarito. Io ho sgranato gli occhi perché pensavo servisse solo a prevenire. Bisognerebbe indagare meglio, fare prove con altre persone, visto che non si finisce mai di imparare. Se avete l'herpes zooster, con cui non si scherza, rivolgetevi al medico, mi raccomando.
