Many of these coils are bad.
Well, I got a bad one. Works fine when the engine is cold. Won't spark when it is hot. I've read that this is a very common problem with these Lawn Boy replacement coils. It has now happened to me on two replacement coils. I guess I'll just leave the engine running until I'm done mowing for the day. When it won't start at all, I'll get a new one from someone else and take my chances again.
