Absolutely awesome way to know your car AC is working like it should, I just recently had my AC serviced and it now cools to 40 degrees after a mile or two ! Is great to be able to see what temperature is actually coming out of the vents ! Great product !!

Used for air-conditioning duct temperature readings for troubleshooting. Also for checking temperatures in my vehicles on very hot days. Easy to calibrate if you have a accurate reference temperature. All you need is a 11mm wrench to turn the scale to match the needle. Ice cubes melt at 33 degress fahrenheit and water boils at 212 degress fahrenheit as a reliable reference. I checked them all for the low end so I used the melting ice method. If you use them for steaming milk for espresso machine then check the calibration at the 212 degree boiling water reference. They are not accurate at both ends of the scale. The scale face is larger than most and easier to read. The holding clip on the probe is very easy to use and adjust. I order 3 sets a total of 6.

I've bought quite a few for work (concrete construction) and I would buy them again. I usually have not had a problem with accuracy, but on some occasion it's a little off. Check it in ice water (mostly ice) and make sure it's at 32 deg. You can adjust the dial to the needle with a wrench on the hex nut on the back.

Used these in diy incubator to verify the controller is keeping accurate temps.
