Highly recommend for nighttime use. I use it to quiet my mind at night sometimes, and it works almost instantly. The liquid itself is definitely an acquired taste…sort of a mix between raisins and hops. You learn to get used to it, though. And for the effects it produces, this product is well worth it.

I was skeptical to try this at first. Honestly I didn’t want something that made me feel super sleepy or out of it or anything like that. The value for the money is 10/10. The price seemed a little daunting but it has lasted my husband and I over a month for the one bottle (and I’ve given some to my dog a few nights which works amazing for their anxiety too!). It makes you feel calm, like you’ve taken a deep breath. Perfect to take an hour before bed if you just want to unwind. I can tell a difference in my mood the next day when I wake up and my husbands mood. We also both have very stressful jobs and this seems to help settle down and get a good nights rest. Tastes like molasses, easy to use, great product. Can’t live without this now!

Formula changed.. supposedly it is now just the root instead of the whole plant but it tastes like pure candy syrup. I question the potency of this product

My bottles of ashwagandha have worked so well to keep my anxiety down ..I love it. But this last bottle seemed like it was all glycerin ..didn't even have have a dark brown color. Has this happened to anyone else?

It took this supplement to help me deal with a stressful and unpredictable work circumstances. I was working construction, night shift, typically not well rested, and found myself climbing a lot of ladders, working at heights, operating man-baskets and powerful tooling. Unlike most in the trades, I choose to avoid caffeine (and nictotine), as I am trying to cleanse/detox (see medium/Anthony William). Ashwaganda will help "dial you up" so you perform a little better and at least feel like you are more alert even if you didn't sleep well. You feel like you are better able to do what needs to be done, with less effort, and be more in the flow. Certainly adaptogenic. Most of the time I believed this supplement to be helpful. But a few nights it made me feel kinda weird/strange which wasn't exactly helpful. Most nights I took 2 dropperfuls of this supplement as I was walking into work. It helped me get through a few months of night shift work with unpredictable job assignments. This type of supplement is interesting. It is subtly psychoactive, but not as noticeable as lemon balm tea. It is always "there" in the background, almost imperceivable, yet gently working on your body systems. There is a lot of research on this herb. It influences various body systems and could be beneficial in various ways, but I used it primarily because it "modulates" your stress response. However, if I was not physically working or doing a task under stressful circumstances I typically wouldn't notice I had taken anything.

I always buy capsules, but a friend of mine recommended this liquid form to me. The taste isn't bad at all and it has 220 mg of organic ashwagandha. I purchased it late at night and had it by 7 am this morning. The packaging was great! I would highly recommend this product.
