Used on an extremely thin rescue horse with hair loss. Highly palatable.Coat improved even before weight did.

Last summer my stallion went thru a series of health issues and dropped a lot of weight. I put him on alfalfa pellets & rice bran. I had him on Vitamin E while he was fighting for his life as well. Once we got over that hump I put him back on Sho-Glo. I've been a user off and on for decades. Along with the other things I have been doing its really increased his wellness. Most impressive is he went from having thin soles to them thickening and getting healthy again. As the old saying goes "No hoof no horse" my boy is back to where he should be. I also put my broodmare on it (since she kept trying to steal his) and there is a HUGE improvement to her coat & hooves (which she's notoriously had bad feet all her life with me). I won't stop using this product now. It's also VERY cost effective to feed compared to other products.

So I originally bought this product for hoof health. My mare is on the double serving size. After about a month and a half I haven't seen too much change as she is still chipping and cracking, but she is holding a shoe better.I rated flavor 4/5 not because my mare has any issues eating it, but because whenever I scoop a months worth of servings I will find about 5 pieces of other colored pellets within the mix. This is a dark brown/green pellet and I occasionally find pink or light tan pellets. I assume this is other feed that didn't get cleaned off the mill so I throw it away since I am unsure what it is.However her coat changes are drastic. I did simultaneously start her on smart itch ease, but I am sure this one is the one darkening her coat with the copper. My girl is already on night turnout so the sun really isn't the deciding factor here, they only get about an hour in the sun when they get turned out at night. I have not noticed much change in her mane and tail however she already had a great mane and tail to start with.She has insect hypersensitivity, so I was hoping this would help cut the itch with a healthier skin and coat, but that hasn't changed much.This supplement is much more affordable than the smart dark and handsome and I am seeing way better results, and there is even another dark Bay in the barn on that who is completely bleached out. Both that horse and mine have the same diet otherwise.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t have very good before pictures (1st-two pics) but if you look closely his coat was very dull and had patches from playing outside. I recently bought him and I decided to put him on this supplement to help his coat while he gains weight, and I’m very pleased with the results! In the after pics, you can see how shiny and soft his coat has gotten. Some of the lighting is weird but you can see he looks absolutely amazing! In the spots he had lost hair from cuts it’s also helped with growing that hair back quicker. Id say this is a great and affordable supplement to put on any of your horses.

I have never been a believer in supplements—horses get what they need from grass and a good quality feed right?Wrong. I initially bought this for a broodmare that I am being a worry wart about. Put a little in everyone’s food. After a week, my chestnut gelding turned a beautiful liver chestnut which he’s never been in his life. My paint horse got sleek and shiny. The broodmare honestly looks the same lol. But my mother who is not a horse person commented on how good the horses were looking after a week on the supplement and I had not told her I was doing anything differently. The results speak for themselves. I’ve been a manna pro fan for a long time for weight gain for senior horses, and this product reinforced the good impression I have of this company. This product is fabulous.

I have an old horse that was losing weight. I took her to the Vet and they told me alot of stuff to do to help her put on the weight. I tried Alfa Cubes, Protein Powder, Corn Oil in Senior Feed, Everything the Vet said. Still was not working. I researched and tried these Vitamins. In 30 DAYS I could see a difference!!!! She started putting on weight, her coat was Shiny and Smooth and the Neighbors stopped saying I was starving her!! She is back to her old self. These Vitamins are worth the money!!!!!! She runs around like a young horse again; she has pep in her step again.
