The picture in the add is exactly how the pucks come, in a nicely packaged box. As others have stated, the pucks are individually wrapped and there is a yellowish shine on the inside of the baggies. The pucks look and feel like regulation weight and size on initial glance and feel. On measurement and weighing of half the pucks randomly, they came in at 3in in diameter (all of them) and weighing between 5.85oz to 6oz. The smell on these is not bad at all compared to the other reviews? Barely noticeable. Maybe I got a better batch?! I plan on using these for practice shooting on a hockey shooting pad and regulation net at the house. These would be perfectly fine for an ice-hockey game. This is by far the best price on Amazon for 50 pucks at $47. I would purchase this again without any hesitation at all.

50 perfect pucks
I read the mostly negative reviews, but ordered these anyways. Afterall, they are going to be smacked with a stick and be hurled against a net with metal edges. As long as they are round and the right weight, I'm fine with it. Well, they are all as perfectly-round as I can see, and I weighed each and every one (as well as 18 random pucks I already had). Each of these weighed between 5.85 and 5.98 oz. NHL spec says 5.5-6.0 is fine. I did not measure them, visual inspection says they're correct. My old random pucks were much worse. Maybe I got lucky and got 50 off a good production run, but in any case, I'm happy with my perfect pucks. Yes, they are painfully individually zipper-bag wrapped (kudos for the care ensuring they are not damaged in shipping, only to surely be damaged by hurling them against a metal post), and yes, they smell faintly like rubber (which they are). But they are great pucks and really cheap.

These are ok practice pucks
These are decent practice pucks. They work well for practice shots and driveway stick handling. We occasionally use them on the ice. If you are playing a higher level of hockey, something beyond house or adult league, I would purchase better pucks, however, for what I do these work.

If you're not an NHL player, these pucks are a good value.
Great for practice, decent weight, I use them to shoot on a shooting pad in my backyard. They aren't like perfect NHL quality, but very solid if you're just using them to practice. Would recommend, good for the price!To all the reviewers saying that they smell like rubber hockey pucks... indeed. Your observational skills are quite impressive... nothing gets past you!
