Well-built AND DOES support the Macbook Air M1
I've seen a lot of folks put ratings that this doesn't support the Macbook Pro M1 and thus they gave it fewer stars. This isn't the version for the Macbook pro, it's for the Macbook Air M1. And it works just fine. Mine just came in today (3 APR) and my 2021 Macbook Air M1 is sitting in the dock as we speak.Side note, I've also read reviews where people are saying you need one of the ports to be directly connected to the charge port. While that might make sense for the Macbook Pro M1 that has additional fans and needs additional cooling, the Macbook Air M1 does not. Also, I went ahead and used a two-port USB-c hub with two usb-c extensions connected to it, to get past the brydge's form factor. My charge cable is connected to the hub, not to the dock, and it is working just fine. My computer is charging, I have my external HD registering, my keyboard is working, no issues. It's a solid build. Heavy for its size but you need that for a solid base so it doesn't fall over. I followed the directions and put a port protector sticker over my ports and I've not had any issues with scratching or anything else mentioned. Is it expensive for what it does? Yes. But I really like the real-estate I save on my desk and it is nice to not have to jiggle the two-port connector of my hub out of the laptop ports- thus i know it will last longer overall. Hope this helps other folks who are curious about what it does.

Game changer for my small WFH space
This docking station was an absolute game changer for my small work from home space. Before my desk was taken up with my MacBook Air, and two monitors and it was impossible to have any kind of paper work down while working. This little guy docks my MacBook Air in clamshell mode and tucks it neatly behind one of my monitors on the corner of my desk. Now I just have a small Magic Trackpad and a gen1 Magic Keyboard and so much more room on my desk to function! I love that it extends your usbc ports to the back of the doc so I can plug in power and a hub for monitors and other usb devices. Best MacBook dock I’ve purchased since the old Henge docks.

Overpriced Paper Weight!
This company charges Apple prices for a product that isn't Apple quality just because it is designed for Apple products.Pros:Outer shell and frame is nice looking and sturdyCons:Has no real function other than standing your MacBook up and extending the two existing portsOuter shell and frame is heavyConnection ports don't always connect right do to cheap internal partsI purchased two docking stations and returned both of them. On top of the issues the items were opened and seemed to be products that were already returned before.I went with a cheaper alternative called HumanCentric USB C Hub and it is perfect! Great quality and has everything you need as a docking station for your MacBook.

Amazing quality
Brydge has a good reputation and when I saw this dock on sale I bought it right away. There are a lot of Mac laptop stands and them separate dongle style docks. This dock has full bandwidth. Connections for both USB C ports. The stand is actually metal but had a plastic sleeve so you laptop isn’t scratched. It’s a perfect fit and perfect alignment. My only wish would be that it would increase the number of ports. You’ll be very happy wit this at any price.

Great for older model MacBook Airs
It's a great product that is really nice quality.I use it daily on my desk setup at home. It really helps keep my desk clean and organized. I currently use it with one of the old apple displays and a mini display port to usb c adapter. Sometimes it doesn't connect right away, but I think that's because my cables are a little frayed.

Much greater footprint when in place and wired up then what I gleaned from the web page.
When I opened the package I was impressed with the design. I was very surprised when I brought it to my 40"x30" computer table. I was hoping to gain desktop as indicated in the web page. I had to return the stand and select another option. Happy with the product, dissappointed with the on-line presentation.

Macbook does not seat properly
The media could not be loaded. I hate to write negative reviews but this item didn’t work for me at first. I took it apart trying to trouble shoot and found the problem. One issue is that the black plastic piece that holds the MacBook that allows it to go up and down the dock is very tight on the Mac book. The other issue is the 2 USB Type C connections don’t exactly line up. Other than those two issues the overall material quality is great. I took it apart and reassembled it with no issues.

Don’t fit
The item was what inspected but it didn’t fit the size of my MacBook Air 13.6 . What size should I have gotten for my mac?
