This is a fantastic, state-of-the Art, customizable, multi-battery-type charger....and amazingly affordable considering everything it can do. I have been a diehard fan of Odyssey Extreme AGM batteries for years, but constantly frustrated that no charger on the market would provide it's ideal 14.6 to 14.7 voltage to achieve 100% charge....these are considered High Energy or High Performance AGMs (Absorbed Glass Mat) and only charge to about 80% with a typical charger's 14.3 to 14.4 voltage....I had to open up a Charles marine charger and tweek the internal adjustment up to 14.6 to satisfy my Odyssey Extremes, up until last year ....when the 15 year old Charles marine charger finally gave out....I was going to open it up and repair it...until I discovered this excellent, bluetooth Victron 30amp charger already had a pre-set labeled "High 14.7" specifically designed for my Odyssey Extreme AGMs ! 🥳....no more charger internal tweeking of settings necessary.... BUT....if I needed to, this charger does allow selecting "Expert" mode and giving me access to specific, individual settings I can over-ride in the presets. ...and, on top of that, is also fully capable of charging my new LiFePo Li-Ion batteries too. The Bluetooth capability is not just a frill either ...as any installation in the marine environment is usually going to involve burying your battery banks in compartments and under berths, etc....so it's great to be able to mount this where you need to but still have easy access to initiating, tweeking, and monitoring your charger and batteries using the Victron app installed on your phone.... I love this thing so much, I've bought 2, one dedicated to my LiFePos and one for my AGMs.

This charger works great, and the Bluetooth phone app is fantastic. I wish it had connections for a physical switch to toggle it on. You can toggle the charging via the phone app, but that's a pain in the ass. It also lacks VE.Can or VE.Direct wired communications ports, so you have to use Bluetooth VE.Smart networking to synchronize charge cycles with another Victron charger (e.g. SmartSolar MPPT). It'd be better if this could be plugged directly into a hard-wired Victron network. Works fine with VE.Smart, though, and the price is good.

Easy setup, app works great and gives all the information you would need to find problems. Used this charger to replace a converter charger. Still have to replace the battery, but this charger can be used as a power supply which is nice. Will update my review once I get a battery installed and after some use. For the price and functionality im really happy so far!

i own 2 chargers for my lithium lifepo4 batteries, this one i have full confidence in, the other one is chinese, cheaper, and more amps but i lack the same confidence. Im grateful for both but i believe this one will outlast any other brand. And for good reason. Buy blue if you can afford it...if not the knock off 60amp Chinese 14.6v chargers are around 120$, they are dumb and i would not leave them connected full time to your battery so be careful if you do, personally i leave my Victron charger always connected and i clamp my Chinese one only when im observing the battery's SoC. happy charging :)

Outstanding battery charger for 3 bank battery systems, and the BT connectivity is incredible (has a LiFePO4 mode already setup)

Works as described. HOWEVER, the screw-down connectors for the cables are too small. They fit 6 awg wire. Unfortunetly, I use 4 gauge, which means I had to buy new cables. .

What a great charger! You can set as a power supply and adjust the voltage and amps to balance lithium batteries. Charges lead acid batteries also and goes into trickle mode when Batteries is fully charged

Charger works good . Bluetooth is easy to connect. Can't tell how it can charge batteries individually. But so far it works and I would recommend

Unit needed no attention or configuration right out of the box. Simply plug and play.

We bought this with all our solar stuff to set up a complete system in our RV. It took us a few months to get everything going and once we got far enough to turn everything on and see if it works, we found out that this rather expensive piece of hardware doesn't work. We get an E1 code, which basically means we got the dud. Because we were outside of 30 days, the seller doesn't believe it's their issue, which I get because it took us a few months to get from purchase to install. BUT, E1 doesn't happen by any incorrect installation and ruining the unit. It's literally a garbage piece and should be exchanged. I contacted Victron, and because it was purchased on Amazon, they've wiped their hands clean of it. So now we're $400 poorer and on the road with no way of charging the batteries while plugged into shore power. We are BEYOND disappointed in both the seller and Victron "handled" this issue.
