As it says for age 4+, it is for a new leaner and for the price £7.99 you get a photocopy booklet, ok flash cards&a paper thin wallchart & a cd( which the speaking phrases are to depth for a new learner plus no English translation when Chinese characters were pronounced).Not worth the price.

Horrendous product. Just someone saying Chinese words . You can't make any growth.

not much use and easy to miss place it

I like the cards. They are organize by some categories. They say the word and them a phrase. So, I like the phrases because a language is not single words. For communicate you need phrases, so I always look for material that have phrases.It comes with a poster where you can see all the pictures, so you don't need the cards sometimes. My children play matching the cards with the pictures on the poster.This product will be great in a bigger size, specially for preschoolers, big pictures are more useful.

Okay so for $10 I am not expecting Rosetta Stone quality but this is less than basic. It teaches a handful of words and a few songs. It does not teach sentence structure, grammer, past/present/future tense, etc. The only positive is 1.) the pronunciation and 2.) it gives step by step directions to draw the characters for each word. Not at all impressed but guess it's a decent amount to invest to see if my kids actually stick with learning it.
