I've always wanted to grow strawberries and these are just perfect for the task. I followed others' advice and drilled extra drainage holes (6 per pot), but otherwise these planters are easy to put together and display very well.

I bought these for my orchids. You need to drill more drainage and it worked great. I was gonna stack five but that cramps the plants so I only stacked two. I love the way it turned out. I would’ve given it a five star if they would’ve had better drainage The chain works pretty good except you have to have it evenly balanced or it will not hang straight. So I set them on a plant stand.

The concept was exactly what I was looking for. The fact is, the product is not very user friendly. There are so many moving pieces it is difficult to load and hang.There are 5 pots, a bottom pan, a chain that feeds through the top with a security tab at the bottom. You must stack the pots to secure the bottom tab. To fill the pots you must start at the bottom and lift the other 4 pots to the top. They cannot come off because of the hook on top.It is indeed a test of patience! Here is a photo of my finished herb planter.Don’t forget, you must be strong enough to lift the whole thing when ready to hang!I will work on #2 when I buy some wine! 🤣

i have a deck, and decided to give up on multiple gallon size pots. The assembly was easy, the chain provides an easy way to lift and move the planter. I filled the basins with potting soil and realized that the surface exposed to the light was relatively small, however being able to move or rotate as the summer sun gets more intense is important. I'll be planting beans, peas, and flowers to keep the season going as long as possible.

The pots are a little on the smaller side but they’re sufficient for a single strawberry plant each. They do need planted at a slight angle to not be smushed. I wish the pots were slightly bigger / stuck out further from the higher tier.They aren’t super thick plastic but they aren’t the thinnest plastic either. They’re fair quality for the price.Don’t be fooled by the cute little shovels.. they bend super easy. ),:
