I am post op abdominal surgery. The binder the hospital gave me was huge and not helpful. Way too long and difficult to tighten adequately. This binder is perfect. The right depth for my body frame. I can sit in it and have support without discomfort. Standing I can adjust it 3 ways. With the main wrap around and then 2 straps that cross cross and add or relax as much support as I want. It’s been a life saver and has decreased my pain tremendously. Thank you! I needed to replace the medical binder I received from the hospital that started to wear down after 4 days of use. This item is well made, has boning to provide support, the overlapping outside belt provides that extra bit of support. I had hernia surgery and this was comfortable to wear all day and over night while sleeping. The height was adequate as I have a small back and it dig under my bra. Great item!

I love the extra tightener. It's a great back support and also cinches the waist. Slightly bulky/bumpy so you wouldn't want to wear under something sheer as a shapewear. This is more practical for someone needing back support and tummy training like after birth.
