Great quality from Thor
Have used their rubber mallet for years, excellent quality and this hammer is no exception.

It is sturdy and appears well made
It is sturdy and appears well made. The handle is easy to grip and a comfortable diameter even for my relatively small hands. The action feels very 'dead', causing no detectable bounce. I've been using it with a chisel to cut mortises. I like its weight for this type of work, although in hindsight the 750g/1.5lb model might have suited me even better.

Bon petit outil qui fait le job. Pas du super matériel mais honnête et qui devrait, en l'utilisant avec attention, durer pas mal de temps. À posséder dans sa caisse à outils.

The shot is only small percentage of overall weight.
Quality is great. But due to it's robust construction and metal frame the shot only makes up a very small proportion of the overall weight. So I didn't find it very effective. I expect the larger / heavier version work better.
