Well constructed, with a good standard of finish.Unlike some 3rd party stands this one comes comes with custom fixtures to securely bolt the unit to the stand.

The best Tado stand
I know it's simple and a bit expensive, that's why I've marked it down 1 star, but compared to a cheaper third part stand I was using this is much better and being screwed to the stand means I can move the thermostat somewhere else without worrying about the stand or thermostat falling off.

Shortsighted cash grab at the expense of goodwill
It’s a plastic stand. You have to use a screwdriver, with two separate attachments and it’s £25. It’s overpriced but unless you have the patience and skill to make one it might be worth it, but it leaves a bitter taste.Apple (maybe they’re thinking they can get away with it in a similar vein?) at least make the hugely overpriced accessories easy and usually of good quality. But this is cheap and it feels like someone is laughing at me at Tado for buying it.I love my products. Why would you stop me raving about your products by screwing me on a stand?… Shortsighted approach that forfeits customer goodwill for a cheap buck… and it’s made me a tad angry.2 not one stars because well it’s a dumb plastic stand and it “stands”. -slow clap-

Pretty basic stand
The stand is just a basic piece of shaped plastic which doesn't really hold the smart AC control properly. I found it frequently fell out during use so wasn't worth the money.

Expensive but probably worth it
Quite a lot of money for a bit of plastic, but the included metal fixings do a great job or making it look fairly respectable when assembled.

Fairly insecure once fitted
Pretty disappointed, the stand hooks in but it’s not that secure. If I had known I’d have gone for the cheaper, none tado alternative and paid less.

Die Qualität ist mit Sicherhrit gut...auch die Optik ist perfekt...aber Hallo...als ich den Standfuss sah...dachte ich ...der ist vergoldet...oder wo kommt der Preis her. Das erste mal daß mich ein Tado Produkt sprachlos macht....Tado Produkte sind fast perfekt...hierfür mal Danke.
